DOES NOT WORK!!

Install the app just to login and ALWAYS get a “SYSTEM FAILED “ please try again later. I’ve tried to use this app multiple times, now I see why I keep deleting it!
Read the other reviews and don’t bother with this app

The process for getting an account is terrible. I understand they have a responsibility to protect our privacy, but nothing about the app or the onboarding process is intuitive. As many others have pointed out, this process eventually required a phone call where the “solution” was to sign up for a myEquifax account. Pure nonsense and incredibly frustrating. In the end, the person I spoke with said he deals with angry callers about this daily, but then said something to the effect that “it’s a free app, so I should only expect so much”. It was a terrible experience all around.
I have the same problem can’t login but I have a better solution for you!!

Locking my account was easy. When I tried to get back in to unlock it, I kept getting “we are having technical issues” so I tried to do it on my laptop. Got met with “please call this number”. So I did, went through the verification process only to be asked some VERY specific questions by the person in order to “verify your identity further”. Tried to reset my password to see if that would help and never got an email. I will NEVER use this service again.

I don’t get why the application has so many bad reviews. In my opinion it works flawlessly and it provided me with the best user experience one can expect. The sign up process was straight forward and locking and unlocking your credit is incredibly simple. Moreover, this is the only company as far as I can tell that provides me the option to LOCK my credit for free. Experian and TransUnion only allows you to FREEZE your credit and only using their websites. I prefer the simplicity of an application that is installed on my phone. I can set a complex password and use my face ID feature to authenticate locally. To me this is well worth it and I can only say KUDOS to the team that created it. I see the top negative review as of today claims this company wants to make it difficult for people to lock and unlock their credit. Based on my experience I think they went above and beyond to make it as simple as possible. I still don’t know how to lock my credit on TransUnion or Experian. In my eyes, they are the only one that made me effortlessly for me to lock/unlock credit and see the current state. Fully recommended app!

The issue is still the same you can’t login with the app and it will lock your account and they will make you verify over phone once you call them your met with the most unprofessional team that make you go to ridiculous lengths to verify your identity and even then they’ll hang up on you or make up an excuse this app WILL cause your account to be frozen and you wont be able to log back in this has been like this for a long time now everything was fine before I downloaded this app they also say they are not the same company as equifax as they will say its handled by another company and are working on it being fixed but that’s false but they security breached many users info If i can save one person the hassle with equifax then it was worth it DO NOT TRUST THEM OR THIS APP THEY WILL CONTINUOUSLY CAUSE TROUBLE FOR YOU DONT BELIEVE ME READ THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS ALL THE POSITIVE ONES I’M SURE ARE PAID FOR BECAUSE NOTHING WORKS “FLAWLESSLY”

Downloaded the app went through the sign-up process it said it was emailing me a verification code it would be valid for 30 minutes. Never got any validation code it told me to try and login put in my email and password that I had just set up it said I needed to complete the verification process click that link. Pop-up says I need to call this 1888 number to fix the problem. Sit on hold for 15 minutes, finally get a person who takes all of my info (now whoever I talked to has all of that?) and said he was sending a link to authenticate I am me. And that link DIDNT work! They have no idea what they are doing and I still can’t lock my credit! ???
Can’t connect to server

I’ve tried logging in several times and it keeps telling me that it cannot connect to the server. Please fix the issues with this app. There’s a lot of us that would really like to use it
