It was a frustrating half-hour experience until I figured it out, but now works great. If your account is frozen, you need to unfreeze your account first before you can use the app. Once that’s done, the app works great.

I’ve been trying to register for one day now as I’m worried about identity theft and would like to lock or freeze my credit report. Every time I try to register either here or on the desktop it tells me there have been an error and that I should call a number with a customer care team. I try to call that number during the operation hours listed but it is impossible to reach anyone. They try to put the fault on the COVID and there is no email for customer support. I personally had never seen anything that bad specially since this company is supposed to protect our data carefully. Anyway I was able to lock and freeze TransUnion and Experian with email confirmation from them. so equifax is the last one I need to lock so If I do get identity theft because of your unavailability, your really bad app, system and website. I will make sure you will be held accountable for this!

I have had this app for several months now. Each time I try to log in using the app, it says I input the wrong email and/or password combination. However, if I use the same information to log in through website, I can. This app is basically useless for me.

Does Equifax have a mobile app with my credit score like the others do. I can’t find the app except for the lot and unlock app.

Have tried for months and continues to give error of Unable to Connect to Our Services. This app is useless. We trust this company with all our credit history, they get hacked and have a non working useless app.

I have my credit frozen. I thought it would be better to view my report from the source, but because it’s frozen, I can’t access my report from the app. This makes no sense as another credit report/score app I was using DOES have access. How is it 3rd party can access a frozen acct, but the actual report holder’s app won’t let me?? Ridiculous.

I have access problems when accessing my account on a secure VPN. I do not feel safe accessing your site not on a VPN. I believe like blocking VPNs is a horrible move. It angers me that you require us to expose our real home IP addresses to access essential services. It puts some people’s lives at risk. Don’t assume other people’s risk tolerance!

In this day and age you would expect that a credit reporting bureau could have an app to set up alerts and freeze your account that worked without issue. I have yet to even be able to set up this account. I’m constantly be taken to a screen that says “experiencing problems please try back later.” I’ve given up! Don’t waste your time downloading this; it does not work! Pity I can’t give it 0 stars.
