Great App.

Robert Morrison

Equifax has done a super job with this app. Much easier than freezing your credit and trying to remember how to unfreeze. I wish the other two agencies would do the same. If there was one improvement I would consider a must is adding landscape mode for the iPad. Right now it only supports the iPad in vertical mode.

Wrong contact number listed in the app

ESP1983

If you have questions the app asks you to call a number, but the number is wrong. The correct number is 888-548-7878 (the app says 584). This is concerning because when people call this number they are ready to provide private information like social security numbers. Even more concerning is that the business associated with the number listed in the app says it has been going on for some time but they can’t get equifax to correct the number in the app. Clearly Equifax isn’t learning from past mistakes and is still not taking our data privacy seriously. Quality control should have identified the wrong number issue before the app was pushed out. And, at the very least, they should have fixed the number once they started getting complaints.

FINALLY

THANK YOU! This app has needed an update for the longest time. So far so good. Love that Face ID is accepted now and app runs smoother. Thank you for working on the feedback! Will come back if I see anything funny. But you guys nailed it.

doesn't work at basic level

Doesn't even able to connect.

Worthless

really frustrated md

Tried multiple times to get this app working but just got messages to call equifax. Called them on several occasions and they said they would fix the problem which was on their end. Never happened. Waited months. Never happened. Last time I called was told that the app is not working because of faulty upgrades!! The app has not worked ever for me. I suspect this is intentional on their part to push people to pay for services to lock and unlock credit. ( I know credit Freezes are free but had to spend 90 mins on phone just to get report unfrozen !!)

At login it just spins and says loading

Jhornert

I downloaded this app thinking it has something to do with my MyEquifax and it is a completely different login access. Who would have thought. So, I logged into my desktop to get set up and use a completely different password to get set up. Now I go back to log into this app with the new password and all I get is something spinning saying “loading”. Pretty worthless app. Unfortunately I will have to go through a web browser to turn on and off a credit lock. Not a big deal if the app was not available. For such an important part of what Equifax offers I would be amazed except I have worked at many large companies so it hardly phases me anymore.

Doesn’t work

KMAEAEOY

About as useful as teats on a bull.

Stopped working

techdaddy99

Used it fine for months, tried to use it a few days ago and it just freezes on logging in. Deleted and reloaded. Same thing.

Can’t Login

fb553

The only way I can login I have to reset my password. That makes this app pointless. I will say a while back it worked not sure what version I had at the time.

This is a joke right?

OldFarker

This has to be one of the worst apps I have ever had the displeasure of installing on my phone. It astounds me that companies that have the resources that Equifax has put out such garbage. The mobile site isn’t much better. Equifax, you guys can do better than this.
