This “app” needs a serious overhaul

This “app” doesn’t act like any other banking app I have. It’s more like a link to an online login page. My husband and I have a joint account, which I manage, but it’s as if I don’t exist. The “app” frequently asks for security verification in the form of a text message that is sent to my husband. Not sure why my phone number isn’t listed but when I need to access the account I have to wait for my husband to give me the security code they send him. If we have any issues that require we address it in person/on the phone, he needs to be the one to contact the bank- what in the 1950s misogyny is this? This actually seems to be a trend in Virginia. Everything from banking to legal documents come with my husbands name and me excluded… but I digress. When the “app” does direct me to the login page the “app” never accepts my Face ID or saved login information. Manual Login attempts are frequently denied with errors such as “online and mobile banking is currently unavailable” and then seconds later another attempt is accepted. “Fast Balances” still requires the same login procedure- how is that faster? Although I still manage this account for my husband, I personally decided to no longer use this bank as my primary financial institution. I returned to my personal account with Navy FCU, which I have had since 1997 and only left to join my husband. I’m much happier as expected since I am treated with the respect any member deserves, despite my gender, at Navy FCU as opposed to LFCU. Also, how do bad reviews have 5 Stars??? This “app” is definitely not rated correctly. Read the 5 star reviews and see for yourself. The majority are negative reviews.

I am 74 and not good with computers. I was having a difficult time trying to get an account set up and operating so I would not be late with my first payment. After much fretting on my part,I called the help center and, lo and behold all things bright and beautiful, a young lady came on the line and solved all my problems. Thank you for hiring such competent staff and people who present themselves professionally to keep seeing to the needs of those who don’t understand all there is about the banking and financing industry. Problem has been reported in still same issues. Have done everything from reinstalling the app to wasting over an hour with customer service to get the issue resolved with no luck.

Very slow and complicated app with too much security steps, if I’m making a payment, why do I need to receive 20 million security codes, I hate this application with passion, I hate it!

Still having issues with online check deposit feature.I am able to take the photographs which the app seems to accept but When I’m finished and try to complete the transaction it always comes up with an error message and will not allow me to come to deposit to my account. This is been going on for about three months now.
