Good products, but app falls short

I enjoy the customization aspect of this product, but the app UI is problematic. Often there’s no back button once you click on product detail pages, or ways to move back to the main menu; the only way out is to completely quit the app and start over. There’s also no option to “Return to Ipsy” once you’re directed to a product’s website. (Again, left to quit the app and restart). It’s quite frustrating to use and I have considered abandoning the product altogether. It would be great to purchase the products they feature on their own app. The app seems limited to showcasing what you’ll receive each week/month in your bag and receiving them, but that’s about it. I feel like I could just use the website for this? The app really needs adjustments to be considered useable and valuable.

it keeps saying i have an account but when i try to login into that account it wont let me. so i can't really give a super good rating when it wont even let me in after i tried resetting the password 5 different times and each time i click login it takes me back to the original page
Very Buggy App

There’s no back button anywhere in this app. It’s so weird and makes navigating the app pretty annoying. It’s also very buggy, especially the shopping section. When you click to see more details and then X out, it often times out and you have to go back to the home shopping page and start over. I added three things to my cart and opened my cart and it said there were no items in it, but they were there when I scrolled down to the bottom of the shopping screen. Often when I open the app it’s just blank and I have to restart it. Just full of bugs. Fix these things, and it’d be a decent app. As it is, it’s kind of unusable.

Second time to try to order. First time they asked pertinent questions regarding my skin color, eye color, skin type, color preferences and perfume preferences. That first profile, order and financial info apparently disappeared. This time they sent me a email with a time date that I should receive first order but they did not do a profile so I guess they are going to guess my skin color, eye color, color preferences and perfume preferences. After receipt of first package / IF I get first pkg. I may immediately cancel if they don’t get my color profile figured out FAST!
Worth it and opened my world to other products

I love this service! It is the first subscription that is actually worth it. It introduced me to new products and made it easier to decide if I like the product. Unlike when you purchase something at a store, online, or magazine and wind up disappointed. I get to share with my sons gf, which gives me props! Yay! One package was stolen around Christmas and they automatically replaced it, which is amazing. Goes without saying that you get the best bang for you buck and can cancel or postpone your services if your financial needs hang in the balance.????

I love Ipsy but this app just seems super underdeveloped. There’s usually not even any way to go back to a previous page, if I wanna go back I have to manually quit and reopen the app every single time which makes shopping harder, so I’ve opted to pass on certain add-ons a few times just because the process of shopping requires me to force close the app between viewing each product.

As a former android user where is the back button? Not very user friendly. Maybe I’m missing it, but found on all other apps Except this one. Not excited.
