Loss of WiFi connection all the time

Just like a lot of people I paid a pretty penny for this IHome AVS16 ,and I loved it for about the first few months. I’ve had it for awhile now, and I’m very disappointed with the overall product. I work in the oilfield and get an average of three to four hours of sleep a day, and I need an alarm clock that I can depend on. I don’t know if it’s due to it being an inferior product, if the app needs to be updated, or the firmware needs to be updated. You have to see that your reviews are consistently bad across all of your apps, and with that being said please do something. The app has to work for us to use the product.

completely and utterly broken. i can’t submit a help ticket even though my ihome won’t connect, which makes the device essentially a glorified paperweight.

Could not get the iHome iAVS16 to connect to my WiFi no matter what I tried. I followed all the instructions available as well as have another tech savvy person attempt it as well with no results. Not a good app / product in my books.


APPLE MUSIC PLEASE

Overall, I really like my iAVS16. It’s a well rounded device with a robust voice service. However, like many people who have also left reviews and comments, we want to see Apple Music as a native option. Amazon Alexa already has the Apple Music skill, so it would just make sense to allow us to use our Apple Music library. Not to mention I paid 150 dollars for this from Best Buy, so for a smart speaker of that price, it should most definitely work.

Every time I open the app, it says please enable WiFi connection then search again. My WiFi is enabled and connected. What’s going on here? Makes no sense on error message

This app keeps crashing and I don’t know why. I have reset the iHome speaker and I also reset my phone deleted the app and reinstalled it. Nothing seems to fix the issue! Please help!!!

Every time I go on the app it says “Your device doesn’t enable wifi connection.” But it does, and I’m connected to wifi... what’s going on?

I just purchased a iHome device and have tried to connect it to my WiFi to just get started and it won’t connect. I was so pumped in using this device but I can’t even doing anything with it. I know for a fact it’s not my network. I’ve tried re-downloading the app, restarting my phone, restarting my device by unplugging itand factory, and restarting my WiFi. And yes my phone is updated. Nothing works. Not even the app for Alexa is good. Just all around a big pain. I will be returning it for my money back. I get tired of seeing the reviews from other customers with the same response, please call our support team. I mean you see A LOT of people giving 1 stars over and over again. There’s a lot of complaints. Maybe you should actually fix the problem and stop giving the simple excuse to call your support team. Get a better app, this whole thing is a joke. I don’t want support, I want the app to work like it should the first time.


Terrible app

The speaker itself isn’t bad, however the AVS app is terrible. I can only get it to function on an old iPhone 5C, on my iPhone X running 13.3, the app closes itself and crashes after a few seconds no matter what you do.


Not connecting

I can never actually get the app to connect to the system. I got it one time and ever since then it’s been a frustrating game. One contracted I home support once before and they sent me a process to do and that still didn’t work. This is ridiculous that I bought this months ago and it doesn’t work!!!
