It won’t connect to my wifi, I’ve tried three different phones. Customer support, of course, can’t be bothered with actually speaking with someone and will only email when it’s convenient for them telling me to do the same thing over and over. Well, if it didn’t work the last four times, it’s probably not going to work this time. I bought the extended warranty and their phone number tells me to push this number for a $100 voucher or push two for other offers. I am about to just try to return this total waste of money to Amazon. But I’ve been trying for so long to actually get some help from customer support, I don’t know if Amazon will take it back anymore. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this product or anything else that might require assistance from a company that won’t take the time talk with its customers.
Alexa won’t connect to the internet. Customer telephones don’t work and customer support email in app won’t send the email.
I downloaded this app to connect my music to my speaker. Tried several times and at first it wouldn’t connect at all. Finally got it to go through and then it keeps crashing. Wouldn’t let me connect my Amazon account for Alexa and every time I try to go to the music to select a song the app closes out. I can connect with Bluetooth and it plays my music but the app just keeps crashing. I even tried to go back into settings to try to connect Alexa again and I barely hit 2 buttons and it closes out again. Please get this fixed cause it’s really annoying
I have an iHome alarm clock with Alexa. I love the clock itself but it is terrible to try and set it up. Every time I have to set up this clock with a new WiFi, it always has problems. Why can’t it just be simple?? It’s such a pain and this app is dreadful. NEVER BUY ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES THIS GODFORSAKEN APP!!!! Save yourself the time, stress, and energy. It’s such a shame cause other than that I love this clock but the setup is the most annoying process. I’m pretty sure I’ve lost years off my life trying to set up this alarm clock. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would it be possible to include an update to include the Chamorro time zone?
This is one of the worst app to connect to a device I have every seen When you use the Alexa feature the Bluetooth disconnects. Then when I tried to use the app to reconnect it can’t find the device So frustrating
Got my grandmother the iHome iAVS16 speaker for Christmas and we have tried to set it up for 5 days. We’ve reset the device settings, unplugged and replugged, and still nothing. Tried to request a service call and no one responded to the phone call or email. Would love help on how to connect.
Tried to set it up - even for my ISP to bring out a new router for better WiFi, and it still doesn’t work. I saw the response from y’all on another review saying that I have to be connected to a 2G WiFi signal, but my router automatically switches devices from 2G to 5G depending on distance. Unless y’all are suggesting that I set it outside, what’s your refund policy? This is bs. Why wouldn’t that be something labeled so that people know what they’re purchasing? My echo device is older than this thing, yet it has 5G compatibility. What a joke.
The app itself is good. The only thing missing is the ability to turn off the updates. Ever since my speaker received the update, it stutters all my music when it’s just connected to my net. The Bluetooth playback from my phone to speaker is good.
I can’t even get the app to submit my customer service request. It just spins and spins. I certainly can’t get it to connect. We have used iHome products for years but looks like that is coming to an end.
