You will watch 7 ads in a row totaling 2.5 minutes at least 3 times during a show. I write down the name of each advertiser so I dont EVER buy their products!!! No other tv app that I know of does this. Its horrible. The shows are good but the ads are mind numbing. There is a response from the developer and I call BS!!! On tv i can fast forward through the ads on this app no way. There are so many ads its not worth it. I would rather pay than watch the ads. Some of the shows are on other ad free streaming services so i recommend any of these rather than this pathetic app.

Excessive ads - would pay for less

I love this channel and love having access to shows through the app, but no other TV channel app forces you to watch this many ads. Like other people have said, I would gladly pay money to see less ads. There is an average of 5 advertisement breaks for each 30 minute show, all showing up to 8 ads at a time. I’ve never experienced this with any other TV channel and their apps. Please please consider an option where viewers could pay to see less ads. I’ve recently found myself using this app less and less because of this.

I LOVE ID Go! But the app only lets you watch some shows. Others are locked unless you have cable. I wish you could pay a small subscription just for discovery/ ID discovery so I could watch everything instead of 3/4 of everything being locked.

Let me start by saying that I like IDGo. What bugs me is that, for no apparent reason, I get locked episodes. That shouldn’t happen. Signing in and out of my provider doesn’t seem to help. The next day, the episodes aren’t locked. This is a bug you should be able to fix. The second problem is that the music on some shows is too loud and you can’t hear the talking. This is not the case on the commercials, so it’s a problem with the programming for the show.

It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

What’s the point in downloading an app that is supposed to be “free” and is advertised as “free” when there is non stop commercials. Just commercial after commercial. If you have it with you TV Subscriber you shouldn’t need any commercials in the app and right smack in the middle of your show.

I had no problems when I first installed the app but now it freezes at the banner page. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app and sign in with the cable provider in order to watch anything. Once I leave the app, I have to do it all over again. Super frustrating therefore I don’t use it very often. The repetitious commercials don’t bother me because I know it’s part of the deal. I just leave the room to stretch, get a drink or do a couple of quick chores and come back just in time for the next portion of the show. UPDATE: Tried IDG again a few months after my initial review and it now works consistently. Thank you developers for listening to user complaints and fixing the issues with IDG!

Loud music overrides voices

I love this channel but the majority of the time on every program the music overrides the voices, and with the volume up, it’s even worse!!! You cannot understand what the people or narrators are saying! Please have mercy on your older fans, I would still love the programs without such loud music!! !??
