I love to binge watch the Discovery ID network. This app is perfect for it! Thankfully they’ve made massive improvements. It used to freeze all the time or just buffer for an extremely long time. Now it just rolls from one episode to another. It’s a binge watcher’s dream.

Of course they had to ruin the app by making you start having to pay for episodes...I’d rather just watch cable

I’ve been watching I.D for years but the past 2 months it won’t work! I have to delete it from my list and re-boot every time I want to watch something!FIX IT! I’m seeing that a lot of customers are having these same issues. If you care at all about your viewers then fix this problem!!!!! Can’t you at least have a few 30 second interactive commercials?????

I love watching my ID shows but the amount of ads is frustrating. You’re better off recording them and fast forwarding through the commercials.

Love the content, but the app plays the same exact commercials over and over and over. I now have the theme song for “the Real Real” memorized. And if I have to watch one more Hellman’s advertisement about grilled cheese I might scream. In viewing just a single episode, one might view the same exact commercial 12-15 times. If you want to watch three episodes, that’s the same commercial nearly fifty times. It’s awful.

I love this app when I’m traveling. I know I can always get my Joe Kenda fix. I set the app up, connected it with my cable company and now I can watch true crime shows easily. Anywhere.

It’s my favorite app. But it’s not. Red keys show up constantly and lock me out. Then I cannot sign out to sign back in to prove I’m A paying customer ?

I love ID content, and I switched cable providers to ensure I still had ID but having AT&T I don’t get ID on demand like I did with Comcast, so I need to use the app with chromecast. The app is so frustrating. It usually doesn’t save the shows I’m watching under “continue watching”. I don’t even understand how it decides which shows to log in continue watching because it’s so random. I just paused it to take a phone call, and when I went back to the app to continue playing the episode it refreshed so I lost the show I was watching and had to start from the beginning...which means having to sit through an insane amount of commercials. You can’t fast forward or rewind without having to sit through commercials, even if you went to the spot you left off on and were wrong. Honestly, too many commercials. I would pay extra for an ad free experience. I just want to add that I will never consider any of the products or services that are advertised during these shows because it is so excessive, it actually is making me hate the companies advertising. I pay for cable already. I can’t use Comcast anymore because they have so many issues in my area, but I pay for cable specifically for ID access. Literally no other reason to have it. If I had on demand I could fast forward through them, but that is no longer an option with AT&T. Throw us a dang bone.

ID is absolutely my favorite channel and I watch it all the time. I have never had issues with the ap until recently. When I log in with my provider it says content not available. I use DirectvTV and watch ID on my TV so i know it is a part of my satellite programming. I really hope this is fixed soon because it is very frustrating not to be able to watch my favorite shows when I am in the go.
