The new default to using filters is TERRIBLE!

So user UN-friendly! Who thinks that drop-down menus and clicking is easier than scrolling categories by swiping?! And NO I don’t want to use your online shopping option. You making me work more and spend what little free time I have clicking MORE buttons is a total turn off and I won’t be using Ibotta as much. I just don’t have the time to fiddle with this. Updated on 1/19/22: the latest version now features “recommended” retailers across the top of my app, instead of the ones I selected as my favorites. Kroger is listed at #2. We DO NOT have Kroger shops where I live. As a matter of fact, the first 6 choices are places where either I don’t shop at all or where I rarely shop. My favorite store is listed in 6th place, once again making me scroll when I shouldn’t need to. What the heck are you doing with this app?! There as a time when every update made the app better. Now it’s the total opposite. It keeps getting worse and worse.

I have received a good bit of money back in savings. The only thing I miss is being able to load the money to my checking account without having to use PayPal. I do not mind the videos you have to watch to earn the money. Great app.

Receipts will not scan after last update

Receipts will no longer scan for Walmart by scanning barcode or entering tc manually . Only an error shows and it takes forever to even show that. I’ve tried everything - nothing works.

Ruined it with the monthly fees

I started about 10 days ago with Ibotta and I got two referals for them with my family and was kn my way to completeimg both welcome bonuses. I went to the airport and borded a plane and turned my phone ln airplane mode. I land, and go on Ibotta and it won’t let me acess my account even when I changed my password. I go to my email and it says i got deactivated because i “violated” the terms of service. Screw you guys for making such a bad app. Wasted my time and money when I was buying offers for food I didn’t even want, Thanks????????????????????

Recently I do not receive any credit for online ordered, sent email to Ibotta team but give me a run around. I use ibotta more less than two years but thinking of delete it.

I haven’t received any cash back for any of my offers I’ve selected since July. It doesn’t matter how many times I remove and re-synch my accounts, nothing works. I used to love this app, but it does absolutely nothing for me now. I’ve been using this app for a few years now and noticed a drastic decline of offers overtime as well. It’s just a waste of time at this point. Really disappointed.

IBotta has changed and it’s not for the better. I’ve used this app for nearly six years and it was once so easy to navigate- easily earning $40.00 a month. Lately it’s been dropping items that qualify (I scan to verify) and even if you can add it back to your redeem page, it still doesn’t give you credit for the item! This has become quite regular & I just don’t consider that to be very honest business conduct.
