Nice iPad app, not a total sub for a good book

The pluses (sounds, photos and drawings) and the wealth of info are very useful. But, searching takes time to learn to use effectively and efficiently. Thumbing through a good blood can often be more intuitive and faster. I lament the loss of Months as a search option since many birds are not year around residents. The time of year in very important, thus four not five stars.

I’ve used this app for several years now. I never go birding without it. My only complaint is—with the newest update, it seems my “Favorites” list was wiped clean. As that was how I kept a handy list of birds already sighted, it kinda sucked to lose it. I will still use the app, though.
Doesn’t seem to work with iPhone X

I bought the full Pro version. iOS 11.2.6. It doesn’t seem to work. I am trying BAM. I can get the pin to my location. I do “match”. I see the updated number in white to my right bottom. Then the filter freezes. I can’t get a list of the local birds. I have to cancel to get out. Then I loose my complete search. BAM doesn’t work. In the registration screen I get stuck again. There are no buttons or options to let me get out. I paid about $24 for an App that doesn’t work. Disappointing.
