I Bird App

14steam

This app is a great tool when I want to identify a bird by song that l can’t see or find

Downloaded this app because I love to listen to birds singing! Absolutely love it and highly recommend it! It is absolutely worth the price. I also found a gadget at Bed Bath & Beyond for $20 that amplifies the sound of my cellphone when I place my cellphone on it and have been attracting birds using it in conjunction with this app. I sit outside for hours being serenaded by the many birds in my area.

Easy app to use

Love how easy and helpful this app is. Highly recommended for beginning birders.

Favorites and Weak Support

crowleyvt

For years I’ve enjoyed iBird Lite, iBird Plus and now iBird Pro. Unfortunately I lost years of “favorites” “photos” and notes during the Pro change over. I’ve tried all the support website suggestions and sent several emails for help and support but only receive generic responses. It’s disappointing to spend money and years in support of this company and be so ignored. Know that while the app is great don’t expect support if you run into problems. There are other awesome choices so do your research. NOTE: I’ve contacted support several times since March and no success getting help. It’s now two days from May! Worst support of any app I’ve ever purchased. I’ve bought every version of iBird over the years except for “ultimate” but no way am I going there. Time to say goodbye to this neglectful company... but I’m sure they couldn’t care less!

Thank you for the details about the update

quinoje

Keep on with the improvements. Love you guys.

I like the app but this update is questionable

whatever it takes!!!

ibird pro is an easy to use, intuitive guide to birds. I’ve had it on my ipod touch for many years now and it’s proven its worth over that time. Because of that I purchased the UK ibird app when it was on sale a while back. with the update to this version, you can now get the UK version as an in app purchase - does that mean the separate app will no longer be supported?

Version 11.0 is broken for iPad

After updating to this version, you can no longer access the menu. When I try the app locks up. I did a few restarts but no change ☹️

Best bird app ever

Pitacalzone

I've been using this app for years it is the best. I especially like the songs and calls.

I feel misled

Biker1951

I used to love this app, but more features that were once part of the “Pro” version are no longer available without paying again.

New to Birding

I was recommended this program by a friend, It gives me everything I need to enjoy birding. The most fun is playing the calls and having the birds call back! The challenge I have is identifying which bird, for example: The “Sand Piper”. I could not believe by my visual identification I was able to pick the correct picture of the “Sand Piper” for the Ohio area! I then looked at the other pictures just for giggles and found that the one I picked was the only ONEmigrating to the Ohio area. AWESOME AND WHAT A DEAL, I LOVE MAKING NOTES AND LITTLE STORIES. THANKS FROM A BEGINNER.
