The absolute BEST birding app!

BirderJules

All birders must have iBird. It's the best way to identify a bird in the field. Great photos are included as well as samples of the bird's songs.

My go-to app for bird ID

Resortonahill

IBird has been my Go-to app since it first became available. I use it to help verify sound, habitat, and images out in the field. The detailed drawings are very helpful in identifying the birds. During an interview Mitch described those detailed drawings were supplied by individuals who depended on less than ideal sources to provide power to their computers so they could send him the images. That makes me appreciate the app all the more. I've used other apps but this one works the very best for me because of the organization and ease of locating the specific piece of information I I am interested in at the time.

Worth the money

The app is easy enough to use and has a wealth of information. It's a go-to app of mine for bird ID'ing.

No, I don't want pop ups

Snank

Every time I go to do a search the app pops open a window asking if I want "Percevia Smart Search", and every time I click "No", but it just keeps re-opening the popup with each search. Very frustrating, I want to use the app but it just wants to nag me for more money. 8/15/2017 Update. It keeps getting worse. Now the app has ads covering the bottomr portion of the display. And, the filter is providing poor results. Birding today, filtered on Arizona, only showed one result for Cormorants and it was not the one I was seeing, removed the location filter and found the Cormorant.

Love!

I love this app! Works great every time!

My favorite App

krisak

Ibird pro is by far my favorite app. I use it almost daily whether it's to identify a new bird or teach my grandsons about the birds we see each day.

Missing bird calls

Insect lover

I sure do miss some of my favorite parts of the bird calls and songs. There was one for the American Crow that sounded like waa-Huu. There was one for American Goldfinch fledglings that sounded like Chipeee. Even some of the Eastern Towee calls I loved are missing.

Love this app

I enjoy this improved application considerably! Each bird is covered in depth and even more so in birdpedia! I believe it is the top birding app available.
