I need an eraser. Not delete all annotations

Eloeffler

I need an eraser. Delete all annotation is nice for erasing an entire page but something i just need to erase a small portion. Think a marker that instead erases. Please make an update

Hello. I use dropbox with iAnnotate - when i open the file from my mac (dropbox) i can see the changed i made on my iphone. But not the other way around(?). I use preview. Thanks.

Love this app

meronhudson

Wonderful app. Allows me to have hundred of articles and pdfs with me at all times. I can annotate and write comments where I want. Got me through my doctorate.

Great idea

I think the app is great, but I have difficulty doing basic things because there is not a manual or explanation of how to make it work.

Pretty good

I’ve been using this app for several years to annotate the audiobooks I narrate. It generally works well but pretty regularly crashes and closes. I do notice too after a few hours of recording the text that is highlighted suddenly disappears and I have to shut down and reopen my iPad and then it works again.

App keep crashing!!

Terrible, terrible.

First time using this app I opened a 40-page pdf file that had been annotated in PDF Expert. The file in question opens perfectly In Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Acrobat Reader. I have switched many, many times between PDF Expert and the Adobe programs for reading and annotating, without ever encountering a single problem. After opening the file in iAnnotate I tried to change the order of two pages, using the page view feature of iAnnotate. The app froze, and all the pages in the documents disappeared from the screen. I’m using a 4th generation iPad Pro, 12.9 inch screen, latest operating system (as of 1/6/22). Waste of time and money.

Great app, awesome developer

Overall very nice. Interface could be modernized a bit, and files should be accessible in the system file browser instead of only in-app. Otherwise, no complaints. EDIT: thanks for the response! Excited for the update for Files. The UI seems designed to get out of the way- for the most part that’s nice, the document is the main event. But toggling the toolbars is a bit too Adobe Creative Suite-esque for me. It’d be nice to have more gestures for navigation, and re-bind-able keyboard shortcuts for the Magic keyboard. Also, having navigation and annotation options available with long-press on words, pages, and a few more (subtle) buttons could be nice. Thank you!!

bad

I feel bad today. I used this app 4 year during my high school. But today I can not open this app. It just keep flashing back. So I think I lost all my document which save in the local file. Just don’t buy this app. It is good in the past, but not now.

Fillable PDFs don’t show form data

VanSperling

I design fillable PDFs for my clients, which they fill out and then send back to me to use for their software configuration. Unfortunately the data in the PDF fields doesn’t show when I open the PDFs in iAnnotate. I have to flatten the PDF in Adobe Acrobat DC before I can read the information.
