Why is this crippled app less functional than the website

I'm disappointed in this app, I can watch shows for free on my laptop, but if I want to use a tablet than I'm forced to pay. Why are you crippling this app, and punishing me for using a tablet ? I think it's a calculated cash crab and j won't support it, Hulu is a joke and everyone knows it.
Ad-free option:?. But change in queue:?

I love that I can watch ad free now, but the loss of the old queue feature near the top of the main page makes the app harder to use. (I can see how the new set-up would work for some, but it should be an option. Not all of us want everything we check out end up in our list of stuff we watch.)

I have been a viewer and customer of netflix for about three years. They have progressively improved throughout the years, I have never tried Hulu until 9/3/16. Let me tell you that yes netflix has a larger variety of movies but how many are truly worth to watch, not many. Hulu has a very small movie selection but they are movies that are worth to watch, but there tv show selection is truly grand FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE CABLE let me make that clear if you have cable get netflix if you don't get hulu. It works perfectly fine if your wifi is up to par people.

Do not download it's a scam says watch free tv and movies no those assholes only want money it wants a payment and does not give you the free trial before hand watch free tv and movies go and screw your self HULU???
Awful on Apple TV

Worst app on Apple TV. Constantly freezes and gives message "Playback Error" requiring restart of Apple TV. No other streaming app has these problems and we pay for premium service. Has been going on for months and they don't address except to tell you to restart the Apple TV.
What am I Missing???

The subscription ads say 'watch the latest episodes' but I am only finding last seasons of shows I watch!!!! What's the definition of 'latest'????????? Will cancel free trial if misrepresented.....

It has a much of different shows, anime, and movies. It is very cheap and affordable, when I first got my 2 week trial it was great, then the day before my 2 week trial ended they gave 2 more weeks!!!
Sooooo much better user experience than built-in videos app!!!

Now that Hulu offers an ad-free subscription, I use it whenever I can, even when I own the same content in built-in app! iOS suffers a horrible bug where they don't clean up storage space if you use the mode where it streams the show! So now I use Hulu all the time and hope I never have to revert to the built-in app ever again!
Recent Update Has Screwed Me Up

I did the most recent iphone app update about 10 days ago, and now it does not work with either of my two blu Ray players. I contacted Hulu support and keep getting different replies from different people. No one is addressing the issue that this all started with the app update... Very frustrating and I'm not getting any answers from them.... Is anyone else having this problem since the latest update??
