Three times I’ve had a party for live sporting events this app has failed. All of my friends think I am a fool for ditching cable. I had to download and subscribe to cbs, which also failed. Then I went to fubo and that failed. Ok for tv content and decent interface but still unreliable.

DO NOT UPDATE! Absolutely terrible! Its not user friendly, shows take longer to load, when skipping ahead through a show you cant see what part you're going to which makes for a terrible experience. Seriously considering canceling my Hulu subscription and going with Netflix again!

Got this app thinking I can watch my favorite shows using an hdmi cable and using my cell data. Turns out the screen goes black and it's intentionally done by Hulu. This app is useless to me now so I will be cancelling.

No picture in picture support on iPad

Apple support for picture in picture has been available for the iPad for >2 years, yet Hulu developers have failed to implement this basic functionality. This translates to a poor user experience and underscores a litany of additional issues with this app.

Hulu IOS App disabling the HDMI Mirroring has now made it my least favorite app. Cancelling subscription until they bring it back. I mean what’s the point?

I already have a Hulu for my chrome cast on my Android. Figured I could use the same account with no issues on my blacklisted iPhone which is nothing but a glorified IPod. I started to see charges on my card from iTunes. They were charging me twice. So I was paying Hulu and I was paying ITunes to use the Hulu app. Kind of ridiculous. Needless to say I got rid of the app from my iPhone. It is really ridiculous, Apple, that in order to download any app, even if it is free, I have to give you my card payment information. Absolutely ridiculous. This problem didn’t come up until recently. So now, if I download an app that’s free, if I neglect to read the detailed information you get to charge me! Ridiculous!

Here are some ways to fix and get the reviews you deserve. Make the browse page or resume page as the home screen. The full screen home page is uncomfortable at best. Very little information is given to the user as they open your app which is driving some of these bad reviews. Make the left half of the screen a double tap to rewind 15 sec and the right half the same for fast forward. The way you have it now makes you jump to far by mistake with just 10 seconds and it’s so small of a button you can “slide jump” 20 minutes and not mean to. Keep the slide function but narrow it to just the bottom of the screen and make it a picture in picture function. Consult your users both paid and unpaid users before drastically making changes like this. It’s your loyal customers that are looking to different apps that are easier to use. Everyone falls down at some point, this was yours. It’s how you get back up that’s important. I would love to change my review to a positive one. I have been with you guys since the very beginning on an iPhone 3g :). Also some shows are only getting 5 episodes deep. If I jump into a show midway through the season I can’t see them all but something as old as Frasier I can see the entire run of 7 seasons... Some of the features you have added are great but this overhaul is hard to use and offers little information without digging. The my shows button isn’t using the right list of shows I am currently watching as a priority. I am sure your showing options to get me intrested in new stuff but let me decide that. When I get board I will find something new. I am looking forward to future updates.
