Won’t use this service again $95.00 is ridiculous and then they hit you with another 39.95 to file In your state it’s cheaper to have an accountant prepare them

First of all I had to pay back money this year which is terrible and I used Turbo Tax in the past, but this year Turbo Tax said I owed more money than H&R Block so the choice was obvious...I went with H&R Block!

For the most part, this site was great, but I had difficulty with the State Pay ID from my 1099-R. I did the photo capture to upload it and the site told me the number was invalid. After speaking with a friend that works at H&R Block, I deleted the photo version and manually input the information. There were no problems after that. I tried chatting with a representative about this issue and they said it was an issue for my financial institution. My financial institution said it was not there error, which was correct. Had the representative recommended manually re-entering the 1099-R, there would have been zero stress.

This app was truly easy to use and it stepped you through the process.

Couldn’t get the app to function properly over the last three months. The few times I did after putting in the same information I found different results and outcomes. This is a scam.

The app allowed me to seamlessly work through the tax preparation process.

I’ve used this app for two years in a row and it’s very user friendly for the most part. My only complaint regarding the app is that depending on where you are on the app, your return status varies. It may say accepted in one spot and pending in another. My other complaint is about the company and their customer service. I filed 1/27/18, received an email saying they needed more information. I called and provided my information, they said I was all squared away. Well that wasn’t the case. My return was still “e-file transmitted” on 4/16/18 I called and it turned out the person I spoke to the first time, never hit enter to enter that additional information, so HR Block was still holding my taxes and preventing me from receiving my return.
