This is not a 5 star rating. Connecting to Instagram is like pulling teeth. It is absolutely horrible. Follow the steps, things don’t look the same. You go through all of this only to find out your account was already connected and for some reason Hootsuite still is not working correctly.

So confusing!

I tried following all the steps to link it to my Instagram but still didn’t work. I’m confused on why it won’t work so I have given up and definitely won’t be using this app anymore. :/

Worked well, but now crashing

I thought latest release would help with the recent crashes. Nope, appears to be purely cosmetic. It becomes unresponsive at first. Hitting keys does nothing. Then the app just closes. [update: still freezing and crashing in latest version. Worst thing though is that it seems to close the editing window when you switch to another app. Need a URL or some text that you have to copy? By the time you return to Hootsuite it has either frozen, crashed, or simply closed the editing window, causing the loss of the message you were composing.] [update: I think it just crashes any time you go to another app, including while clicking links in other tweets. Want to read an article? Click on link. Get done reading. Click “back” app freezes and closes. You start over trying to figure out where you were in the stream. Sigh.] [Follow-up: the crashing has made this practically unusable.] Using iPhone 8

App needs improvement

“Nothing Here” If you leave the app mid post it will delete the work; no save in drafts, just gone.

If I close the app to switch between Canva or email, it will close out of everything so I have to restart OR I’m not able to click anything so I have to force shut the app down and restart to do anything. This only started happening recently.

Posts fail to publish now

I wanted to schedule a few posts, logged out and signed back in, and I keep getting a “connection issue” error message. I don’t know why it fails to post now, maybe a bug with the update

iPhone and iPad the app fails to stay open in the background no matter what. Fix it! Have lost lots of time just fixing the lost post.

New version has lots of issues

New version is bad. 1) it’s an accessibility nightmare. Text was made smaller. Still no dark mode. Literally can’t be used by everyone we need it to because it either can’t be read or gives folks migraines. 2) it keeps crashing 3) it loses my spot in the feed every time I switch to another app

Developers aren't repairing preexisting problems. App has become unusable with the crashing and more. Not recommended
