Wouldn't show my Facebook account in my social media accounts to attach to a post- even though it showed on the home screen and it's what I signed in with.
I was hoping they were wrong. ?

After reading all the negative reviews about this (Hootsuite) just not working I decided to try it anyways. I am looking for something to schedule my IG posts. Installed it on my iPhone 13 ProMax. Found out I needed a FB business page attached to my business IG account. So I created one and everything seemed to work… meaning I got my IG account to show up in the app. Once I tried my very first IG post is failed with a simple ambiguous error “something went wrong”. That’s it, that’s all I get. Nothing more, no way to troubleshoot. After about four hours of reading article after article o gave up and deleted the app. The sad part is I am even willing to pay the outrageous monthly fee, if I could get it to work. Because of some bad UI decisions they have lost a customer before they ever got one.
Mobile experience is severely lacking

In mobile using the site features do not resize for mobile so you cannot pull drafts, scroll or launch previously drafted content. The app also lacks a feature to review and launch drafts, or if it has this feature it is not working for our platform. Desktop site is great, but fix the mobile please. I travel a lot and do not always have my desktop.
Does NOT sync with IG

Hootsuite will only allow you to sync accounts using Facebook. If you don’t have a FB & you don’t want a FB, don’t waste your time on this app. They will not allow you to sync media accounts without first owning a Facebook account.
Unreliable Program & Nonexistent Support

Suffice it to say that I had 90-ish posts disappear from the planner with no explanation and no resolution. I currently have a ticket open for the issue that was opened a month ago. I get a nonsensical and redundant response from customer “support” about every 2 weeks usually after hours. Our contract is up in about a month. I will use that time to find another content publisher because this is absolutely unacceptable by ANYONE’s standards. Buyer beware!

They are fraud. I’ve been a long term member paying dues since 2013. They changed their pricing this year and failed to notify me. I was charged 7X what I paid. I’m not mad that they changed their pricing but the fact that no one notified me. I realized the charges 4 months later and they took themselves off the hook. I will never do business with them again.

Hootsuite used to be really great for small social media managers, but not anymore. To get basic analytics, your basic plan doesn't even cover it, only the "team plan." I'm using it till the end of my payment period then will be leaving. I'm addition, they keep double posting on my clients Facebook, which is not a great look.

The app won’t connect to my social accounts. And good luck with hootsuite customer support. That’s the biggest complaint I have. It’s cool if technology doesn’t work perfect, but if I can’t find someone to help me when your app doesn’t work... why do I pay $150 a month?
