Needs Update! Paying for Broken App!!

This worked great many years ago with our older kids. Now it keeps prompting to login and buy subscription even though we’re already paying for one. It’s been charging us but not letting my child use the full app.

We downloaded the app, was excited while doing FREE trial & was happy to continue to So we signed up for monthly. As soon as my account was billed they logged me out, I spent four days back n forth with password resets, preset passwords and links to creat new passwords only to still no gain access to our account. My five year old was upset he couldn’t play and I was even more upset they couldn’t seem to resolve it, I did not receive a refund because they told me I had to go through App Store and after about twenty mins on phone with Apple I was finally able to at least cancel the subscription. We will be taking out learning adventure back to ABC Mouse which we never have had any issues with. Bummed it was such a let down!

I got a subscription because I know the program is beneficial to the struggling reader. However, the app is a mess. I am unable to login at times- screen freezes completely. My son is only able to do the free activities, even though I purchased the entire program. It is very disappointing.

Awesome, engaging program, but can not get the volume to work. We have called and they said they would work on it. I deactivated my account and resubscribed and still the same. Really disappointed because my son really needs it.

I purchased the Hooked on Phonics App (2 different apps) for my classroom so I could use it on my sons and their classmates. I have emailed support a couple times and never received a reply. I paid a lot for the apps. The iPad froze and had to be reset. You can not download the app. So I am out the money I paid for the 2 apps.

Good program. Unusable subscription issues

The program itself seems good and I'm noticing some progress with my slow reader after about a week. However one week ago I purchased a one-month subscription. Now one week later, the App is telling me I do not have an active subscription and refers me to the Apple App Store to manage subscriptions. The Apple App Store tells me the subscription is good for another three weeks - and yet I have no way of getting the app to work now. This is similar to complaints I've seen in other reviews. I wish I had listened and not wasted my money.

Great app too bad I cannot get the sound to work

I really love the app but there is no sound. The site says the sound files may not have gotten downloaded so I tried 4 times and still no sound. My other apps work fine and have sound so there is nothing wrong with my iPad. The app is useless without the sound

Signed up for a seven day free trial. Instruction said it would be easy to manage and cancel if I decided to cancel. Well I decided to cancel and guess what? It’s nearly impossible to do. Apple doesn’t see a free trial apparently as a subscription so you can’t find it under manage your subscription. There’s no option to get out of the seven day trial on the website that I can find and the website is full of glitches. For instance you click on their email address to open an email and nothing happens. You go to type in your email address and nothing happens. Somehow they have my address as Baltimore Maryland I live in Massachusetts. Another glitch I’m sure. I know this program has an excellent reputation that’s why I was willing to give it a free trial. But for my grandchildren it just didn’t work out they’re not that interested and I see no reason for me to keep it. I am extremely disappointed that’s such a reputable name that’s been around for many years would have such errors in their site. Errors that seem to me to be geared at keeping people past their free trial so that they can bill them. I do see another review where the woman is billed every month and has to call them every month to cancel. This is frustrating aggravating terribly wrong he should just not be happening from a reputable company. My advice is to stay away from the digital version at least. Also we were led to this trial through a game and we were supposed to get credits in the game to use as currency, upwards of 20,000 so called diamonds that never arrived. I don’t just try everything that I’m asked to try and order to earn points or game currency, but I do expect to receive them if it’s promised.
