iPad app has never worked

The app on our iPad has never had any sound, but works on the iPhone and NO internet access to the apps they only work on a smart device. Clearly this is an issue because every time my daughter wants to use the app I have to give her my phone.

I really enjoyed the materials for my son, but they app constantly froze. Not only that, it lost his progress and restarted him to level one. Waste of time!

No sound

I am getting no sound from this app. Perhaps it’s an Apple issue, I am using an Apple phone How about updating the app to fix the issues!

App Won’t Open

I downloaded and tried to open the app. It won’t open. My iPad software is up to date, so I don’t know what else to do.

I have been using it with my 3 year old daughter. She loves it. Every evening she would ask to play “Hooped on Phonics”. She is making big progress in reading and enjoying it more than any other reading activity. We haven’t experienced any glitches. The app works very well for us. It’s worth the money! There was a time where it got too repetitive and boring, but after a couple of weeks she asked to play it again and things moved on. Our favorite part is music! All songs are incredibly well done! Listening a song of the next lesson is the biggest reward for my daughter. Great quality material all together. I look forward to watching my daughter’s progress.

What happened? When I originally bought this app it had books you could download and use offline? Now fast-forward when I actually need to use the app for my niece and I had to uninstall it. When I went to download it again, it was a completely different app. Not to mention it's asking me to login (which I never did before) and won't allow me to restore my purchase. Is this the only Hooked on Phonics app? Am I missing something?

No sound!!!

I have been using this app for over a year with no problems. Now all of s sudden there is no sound??? I’ve contacted customer support and they told me it’s the volume of my phone, that it must be on mute, basically what they keep writing under the reviews saying they have no sound. I’m so surprised they are choosing not to fix the problem and simply push the blame off on the user. I really enjoyed this app until recently. If I can’t us it I need a refund. I purchased the package for life. If I was only going to get it for a year I would have purchased the one for a year...

Payment system is a disaster

I signed up for a free monthly trial. After 7 days, the app said my subscription was over and I needed to renew. I contacted customer service. It took them almost a week to get back to me and they reinstated my account with the original time period which meant I lost all of the free days waiting for them to respond. Then after my “month” was over, I chose not to renew. Over a week later, they charged my credit card for more than twice what a monthly subscription costs. Once again I contacted customer service and they would not refund my money but said I have access to the app for another month. Aside from those issues, the app is definitely not worth the price!

I can’t cancel

I want to cancel after my 7 day trial but there is no cancel subscription option and I have been charged for this month. Help me cancel.

Kids love it.
