Not transparent & HomeAway not accountable

Not only is there lacking transparency but when there is a problem with property ...the frustration is neither the “owner” nor the corporation /care & one has already paid everything upfront so there is no recourse. Soon after “the owner” declared bankruptcy & I list $2500 for rental & of course HomeAway had never even gone to inspect property with list of my complaints...including cameras, no heat, $ everything but child-friendly.

Beautiful home! Well kept. Easy in and out of channel. Nice Dock and shaded areas to sit back relax and enjoy sunset views.

We have used HomeAway all over the country and we are in love! You get the comforts of home, meet awesome people, and know your money goes to a person not a corporate chain! Love supporting small businesses and I love being able to go “home” after an adventure!
