Let’s just call it “False advertising” for short. You can browse all week long and see “$175/night”, and then VRBO allows the owners to start tacking on every imaginable fee there could be. How about, now this is gonna sound crazy, just put a single price point like a hotel does?

This has now become our go-to place for our bi-yearly family reunion. We love the design of the house with a fabulous master suite with private sitting room one end and other bedroom at the other end with bathroom, laundry and kitchen right there. The comfortable and attractive living and dining area is between. Joan is a wonderful hostess who helps make the stay as pleasant as possible.
Buggy and slowly going bad

I used this app since long ago. Used to be reliable. Now its full of bugs. 1) cand manage my cards. For example my old card expired and i cant remove it. Froze on me when tried to add new card with same number but different expiration 2) finally did instabook. Inbox says it booked. My Trips keep getting error that cant load trips 3) trying to chat with support. Not responsive. Sitting 10 minutes waiting for answer.

We love Home Away, everything you could ask for on one site. Lots of rentals to look at, and they are just as advertised. Reservations, payments, insurance, canceling insurance it’s all here. You can also contact the owners if you have any questions on the rental not mention on the site. Only once has a reservation been canceled, due to a water pipe which burst a few days before our visit....HomeAway was right on it and found another place for us, it was an upgrade and they paid the extra cost. ❤️❤️❤️

Upon making my booking i was lied to. The hot tub was cold. Had to pay for heat. Called after 2 days to buy 3 days of heat but was charged for 5 days. Roaches as big as baby mice. Roach poop stains on blinds dresser and anything else.Bb court was a child size hoop outside of pool with no ball. There was no light bulbs in rooms. A neighbor came by to say he could smell gas. Owner did nothing did not even check on us just said thats normal. Could not change temperature in house note stating not to above thermostat. No tp no trash bags. Water stunk like sewer for a crappy shower. The tv didnt work i had to rewire the whole thing. Call the guarantee people from this website got no help good thing i got pictures of everything including text , chat , reservation, neighbors phone number. Turning it into the bbb.
