Frustration with huge variation in displayed price. Lower listings ended up being more expensive after taxes and fees. Listing prices should be inclusive of standard fees and taxes with only extras left out. Otherwise users get frustrated and use other apps to find stays.

I’ve been booking an annual summer vacation through HomeAway for several years now and have constantly been pleasantly surprised at the great selection, prices, and management! I will continue to use HomeAway for future trips.

Lady on the loose
I have had great success booking through this site and recommend it highly. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because a few years ago I did not have the extra booking fee and it was less expensive. We all like to save on our travels, however, I still prefer this site to most of the others.

Washer was being worked on when we arrived .Apartment size washer for 12 people. We had no washer while we were at whiteshell. Huge hole in floor of swimming pool deck along with the pool deck needing to be painted because of splinters. If it had not been for management on n. Captiva we would have really complained No outside shower . One shower head was in the mud . The shower had been torn down. The second outside shower was for washing sand off feet .this shower had three sides Kayak s did not work. Also smell of sewage as you drove into our yard

We almost exclusively use this app and have been very pleased in every situation with every owner and the personal touches. It’s pretty cool to be able to talk to the owners of the different properties and read the reviews and check out the properties. We have a lot of favorites and a lot of properties that will definitely go back to. Thank you home away!

Can’t flip through listings via map like Zillow, very annoying. But the worst part is if you are looking at cost it doesn’t really arrange it to include fees so there’s no way to know the difference in price unless you click on the request to book or calendar, makes it very inconvenient. They should have the price per night includes by all fees and taxes, otherwise it’s just silly!

Would highly recommend this place! Just enough for two couples or parents and two children. Right across from public beach Access and can view the beach from the porch. Very clean and owner is exceptional to work with. We will definitely be back!
