Worst and slowest customer service. No phone number to call. Emailing back and forth takes forever to respond. Cleaners need to be micromanaged. One guy didn’t even touch the vacuum.

This app promises “pros” that you can choose to clean your house. Problem is, after you choose your cleaner (and even establish a good working relationship with them) it continues to randomly assign you people with zero reviews and then the app won’t let you cancel those appointments. So basically, it is forcing you to let random people with no reviews into your house. Also there is zero customer service, No number to call or anything, and when you write to handy, they don’t respond. This is a really sketchy company folks. Steer clear.

This is ridiculous. We initially bought a 6 month plan on Handy. We wanted a cleaner to come each month. However, people kept canceling on us last minute or worse, just not showing up. When we tried to reschedule, Handy told us we had to use all of our 6 cleanings within the original 6 month period. This is absurd, because had people actually shown up on time and respected our schedules, we would have used 6 in 6 months. However that’s clearly not possible if people keep not showing up. Additionally, you can’t sign up for the app and test out the service with a one off appointment. The only way to create an account is to sign up for a package to buy multiple cleanings. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend this much time planning and fighting with an app over this, when the point of Handy is to make their customers’ lives easier and more convenient. Would definitely recommend people to stay away!

I paid for a 3 hr cleaning for my small studio apt and it was cleaned ok, but not thoroughly or conscientiously. I saw debris on floor behind toilet bathroom, soap scum on some fixtures, I asked if window sill could be cleaned and they cleaned only the base, while leaving the rest of window clearly dirty. I booked a second cleaning for over a week and received no confirmation. Then on the morning of the cleaning received a message that cleaner was unavailable and they rescheduled it automatically. 3rd cleaning: another cleaner cancelled on me last minute, and I really wanted the studio cleaned before I left for vacation. I was sick of this so I just attempted to cancel my account, but I had about $90 in credits from canceled cleanings. They counter offered to use the $90 towards a $99 membership that will allow me to book individual cleaning sessions without pre-booked regularly scheduled times. They would not refund me my $90 however. This business is exhausting me. Their rating is fake and I can’t believe how low they pay their employees and make them buy their own supplies. So when I get a cleaner all of them have different supplies and some buy cheap supplies and I don’t blame them. I can’t stand this company. ZERO stars.

This company has no more employees because of nonpayment to workers. Customers complaint how they do not cancel contracts to keep charging you.

Way too expensive for the type of service provided. And its impossible to cancel if you are unhappy. Each month’s cleaning service is worse than the last. My “cleanings” don't even include a vacuum of my carpeted apartment. Customer service told me all thats guaranteed is a polish of appliances and a dusting -for 100 bucks, i’ll do that myself. Don't waste your time or money!! There are too many other providers out there to bother with this one.

I submitted a request online. A customer service rep called and booked the appointment...on the wrong day. I attempted to fix this by calling the cleaner, who told me I had to reschedule through the app. The app didn’t register the reschedule and there’s no customer service number to call to ensure that changes have been updated. Not only isn’t my apartment clean, they only refunded me half of the cost. Basically I paid $45 for literally nothing at all.

Yoel did a great job. He was prompt and did great work. He was very patient and displayed great knowledge of his craft. I would definitely book again!
