I essentially threw away $400.... their app is super easy to set up without realizing they are hooking you into a contract with a cancellation fee. They let you choose your pro cleaner then change it at the last minute with no reason. While if you want to change they charge you $15... I requested female only cleaners and they changed to male on me. I could not reach anyone! I had to cancel that service I already paid for $166 cleaning fee+$15 cancel. Then I was charged $99 to say I did not want to use them anymore. I still can’t reach anyone who works there. Even more deceptive they only show the positive reviews on their cleaners they filter anything with less than a 5 star review. How can this be real... scam lawsuit in the making.

Two out of the four times I’ve used handy there’s been an issue. The first one I understood because I got a cancellation 5 minutes before my scheduled cleaning due to an emergency from the pro that was cleaning my place. The second one, (which was the day after my scheduled cleaning was cancelled) the “pro” said she waited 30 mins and had to leave so due to this reason, Handy is not going to issue a refund. Where the I see the problem is that Is she was actually waiting for 30 Mins I should’ve gotten a call from the front desk, a call or a message from Handy but nothing. I even ask my front desk to provide footage of the people that arrive around that time and nothing. So I find it very unprofessional and disappointed that Handy did not want to give me a refund for their mistake. DO NOT USE HANDY (Handy please don’t respond “go talk to our support team”...I already did and that’s why I’m writing this)

I’ve had issues with this service since I signed up. The only reason I’ve stuck with it as long as I have is because I found a great cleaner through it - before finding her, I kept dealing with cleaners canceling on me the morning of scheduled cleanings. This happened the first two times I tried to use the app, and the customer service I received was extremely disappointing. Since then I’ve had issues scheduling specific cleaners (the calendar feature in the app is extremely confusing), and when you do schedule a specific cleaner based on reviews, it’s often switched to a different cleaner without notifying you of any changes. This just happened to me and the new cleaner assigned to my scheduled cleaning says she has 4.5 stars, but when you click her name it says “no reviews yet”. So you switched my cleaner to someone who has no reviews, without notifying me? Really bad experience.

My first cleaning was awful and now I’m stuck into three more months of cleanings or pay a $99.00 term cancelation fee. I didn’t even know that I signed up for 3 months when I did my first booking! ? All of my cleaners have been pretty bad! One cleaned everything with a dirt rag so the whole house smelled bad, one threw away a bunch of my dishes, one only cleaned for 1 hour and then left (saying he had cleaned everything) when it still looked dirty. There is NO customer service! At all! Beware this app! Do not use it!!
