So far, I feel a lot better

dumplingking

My experience with this hasn’t gone long enough, however my status of my health: physically and mentally have been doing well a lot lately this week. I’m able to manage and check my self out how far I’ve been doing. I’ve had my troubles throughout the years of experience in school, creative work, mental health and physical health. Thanks to this app, I really sort things out the positive and negative habits. If i have didn’t satisfy any habit that was written, i get a negative and it made myself and the avatar feel unwell. But that doesn’t mean it’s a failure, i just didn’t do it and I’ll do it better tomorrow to feel good again. there’s guild or tavern (chatroom) people will support you and the guild will give you a quest in real life, to do something good for yourself. Its very rewarding at the end of the quest. try this app and see it for yourself. if something lacks, then say something.

Hi! First off, I know y’all are working super hard at what you do and I love HabitRPG. I can’t imagine how hard it is to find the code responsible for bugs. Saying that, I do want to make you guys aware of some trouble we’ve been having on our end. I’ve had two people quit our party and Habitica all together because of the App. They were enjoying the concept and were thinking about subscribing but just couldn’t handle the bugs. They didn’t go into details but I know one was in contact with you about issues with her profile and just threw in the towel. The other just said it was so buggy she just couldn’t play anymore. One of my teammates last night was kicked from the guild by the app, I did not do it. She could not access the guild on her end but she was showing up on mine. This morning I tried to remove her and add her again, but it said “user not found” the issues resolved itself on her end, but I still cannot tag her in posts. Another I tried to boot from the group because she stopped using it. I have been trying to remove her for months to no avail. Every single time I get a notification from the app, it follows with 3 more, one after the other. I have been a player since 2014 and a subscriber on and off for maybe 4? I’ve used the app for close to three but I’m having a harder time defending it and trying to reason with myself for staying subscribed and playing. Please fix it or just develop a new one. I will throw in a donation if it would change anything at all. Jenny

Great app, great customer support

Recently, I had a situation where I bought a membership for my friend in a sale where I would get one in return. I didn’t become a member, and so I contacted Habitica and it turns out that this sale had ended, but because the banners advertising the sale were still present, they honored my purchase and gifted me a subscription! Thank you, Habitica!

I’ve always been a gamer, so the idea behind this is great. I would love to see Siri integration so that the app can automatically register if I have learned on Duolingo for an hour and register it, or if I’ve had my bible app open for half an hour and register that. I had hoped Apple would make these things native, but seeing that they only limit screen time, I was hoping maybe an app developer could artificially create this in an engaging way to create positive “enrichment” goals that read our app usages and automatically remind us if we have not hit our goal thresholds. I’ll be adding to this as I see the app’s virtues, but I expect great things from guys that take the gaming angle, keep up the great work! Edit: 1st Suggestion: Allow for weekday/weekend goal differentiators 1-14-2020 Edit: Thoroughly enjoying adding all my dailies! Finally the first game that has daily quests that are not a complete waste of time!!! This game deserves more attention. Literally the perfect “VRMMORPG” would be a collection of activities to be done within real world scenarios. I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time playing endless video games, so this is for a fact the healthiest I have ever encountered, and the most unique since we can customize our experience and create our own quests; purely brilliant.

So I am a HUGE procrastinator and since I’m in school it was a huge problem for my grades. I wouldn’t ever turn things in and for a while I didn’t even admit I had a problem. But after getting this app it’s really put me back on track! I would definitely say that this app gives you extreme motivation to fix bad habits and I highly recommend it.

The only productivity app that’s worked for me

I’ve been using Habitica for six years now and it has changed my life. It’s exactly what I needed. For some people, a plain checklist is motivating enough, but for me I need an actual reward - even if it’s just pixels. There are so many ways to customize it to fit your personal goals and style, and the community is awesome. The staff is friendly and responsive and always improving both the app and the website.

Broke my phone sorta

ace_mrda

After a few days of having the app it erased all the icons on my home screen and then started spamming my phone with notifications continuously until I was forced to uninstall it, afterwards my phone retuned to normal

Love this so much

So I am a sophomore in high school. This app helps me so much with getting things done and not putting them off. I love all the little things you can do and the feeling you get when you check off your things. I would recommend this to anyone who sometimes lacks motivation to do things. There are a couple bugs but the goods massively outweigh the bads.
