Solid experience so far, UI a bit left to be desired

Can be clunky navigating the app and figuring it out but concept and usefulness is wunderbar.

Great app
321 lift off

This app has really helped me get motivated

Reminders Don’t Work
Paula Poundstone

I really loved this app for a while. But after a while I realized the reminders simply don’t work. In order to make them pop up in the Notification Center, you have to go into the app once a day to make them work. It really sucked so I switch back to the normal Reminders app that came with the iPhone.

Confusing.

There’s not much in the way of directions and then all the sudden you start scoring either negatively or positively and you can’t undo it and there’s no help. I just deleted it. Really good idea and obviously other people understand it but I just felt like it needed additional direction

despite a few bugs, is incredibly helpful
jojo is fine

i see a lot of people saying there are a lotta bugs in the app, and yeah, there are. but this app has been so helpful in helping me organize my life and get things i need to do get done. having my objectives and dailies be completed and seeing them ticked off makes me feel better about myself and like i actually accomplished something, especially when working on a big project. <3 this app.

Fixed line width
sugargoose003

Absolutely love Habitica. About a year ago it helped me quit smoking, get in a better shape and I still continue using it for motivation with work and personal projects. Over the time I’ve been a user a saw the design change a lot, many new features keep being added. But there’s one little annoyance - funky line width. I hope that you can add an option to keep the width fixed. I find it really disturbs the flow of tasks when the lines with streaks or checked tags become almost twice the width of others.

Love the App

Unable to switch default app icon on iPad. Worked perfectly on iPhone. Wish I could have it look the same regardless of platform

Awesome

Guys this is absolutely amazing, thank you for creating this app. But i just want to mention a glitch, if you keep on clicking a daily again and again completed achievement, cancelled achievement, complete achievement, again and again. the damage you’ll do in a quest will build up. I only realized this when i was bored out of my mind and started clicking one of the dailies again and again since i completed it but i just kept on clicking it and then it said “27.3 pending damage” sooo yeah

Love! But needs work

I absolutely love this app! It’s a perfect concept, and really motivates me to get things done! I love having a little character to level up, and getting pets and mounts, doing quests—it’s all so motivating and fun for me to do things irl now!! And i love the multiplayer function, having a party with my irl friends, and doing quests together, the guilds are fun, and I love the challenges!! However, I will say that the app needs a bit of work still. There seems to be a few glitches and kinks that need to be worked out, when compared to the website version. One of the big ones I’ve noticed is I don’t get a pop up upon completion of a quest, detailing what happened at the end (like what happens on the website version), I also don’t get a check in pop up on the app. Another mild annoyance is that half of the time, when I go to my tasks, they will be all out of order, and not in the order I put them in. Exiting out of the app and reopening it usually solves this, but it’s a bit annoying. These little glitches aren’t enough to stop me from using the app but I do hope they eventually get worked out!!

Used for years, Backbone of my productive life
EmeraldNext

I don’t know where I’d be without Habitica. It’s the backbone of my life - like a second center for executive functioning. Can’t recommend this app enough, especially when you set wanted purchases or gaming time as rewards behind your everyday life!
