This app is a great way to train yourself to complete tasks that might otherwise go undone. I use it for the tasks I hate doing—managing my inbox—and the stuff I always forget, like taking medication or weekly chores. The pets are a fun reward, too! I love my little pink dragon pal. And it’s so satisfying to click away a long-term goal. It’s simply a psychologically satisfying way to get stuff done. It’s really helped me.

When I try to register it says that it can’t connect to the server and to check my internet connection. My internet connection is fine, so.... I wish that it would work, it sounds like a good concept.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel this app really deserves it. Habitica, simply put, is a app that takes RPG elements from video games and applies them to real life duties in the form of “Habits,” To-Do’s,” and “Dailies.” It’s a really interesting and fun concept; I’ve enjoyed it very much so far. I even spent the last hour coming up with achievement-like names for my to-do’s, dailies, and habits. While it wasn’t the most productive thing to do, I sure did get a kick out of it. To add icing to this already delicious cake, the in-app purchases are cosmetic only (as far as I know). Only complaint I have is that the raid boss is too OP. I’m kidding, haha. Kudos to the devs for making this wildly fun yet productive app.

Every time I try to make an account it won’t let me and says it can’t connect to the server. Very frustrating as I’m excited to check this app out but I can’t even open it. I’ve already tried deleting the app and downloading it again but it’s the same error. Will update this review if I can ever login. Until then, this gets 1 Star (should be 0 but Apple won’t let me)

For years I have been looking for something/anything that would give me the functionality provided by Habitica. I have been using it now for over a month and as I have discovered new little features, I have been able to better organize my life while keeping things light and fun. Thank you Habitica

This is an app I would love to use if it wasn’t buggy. My habits list freezes when I try to delete something and the loading circle won’t go away on the habits or dailies page, often appearing in seemingly random spots. My habits were all deleted and I have to recreate them but it’s slow and sometimes doesn’t work. It’s seems like a great app, versatile and fun to use, but until it’s ironed out I won’t be using it.

it's a great app for productivity. however, there's really no way to get gems unless you pay for them. i think it would be netter if you gained gems by completing a streak of your dailies like 7 days in a row or two weeks in a row or something like that. i don't mind supporting the develipers, but....not for gems. i downloaded the app because it was free

The app is getting me to do good habits daily, but it is incredibly confusing to use. It’s really difficult to understand the difference between guilds, groups, parties, etc, and between challenges, quests, etc. Maybe it’s easier the longer you use it, but for a beginner it’s very confounding. Also doesn’t seem to be letting me add friends? I am seeing quests or challenges or whatever that a friend added me to, but my app says I’m the only party member (which doesn’t even make sense because I didn’t even make the challenge myself so how can I see it and be its only member?).
