I owned a few devices the 920xt the 235 and currently using the 945, as a triathlete this is my most useful tool. Much greater and reliable tracking experience then using a cell phone. Easy to use easy to sync and the customer service can’t be beat. I’ve had a device replaced for free because of malfunctions after I have owned it for a year or two. Higher standards and reliability than other companies I’ve used I guess you get what you pay for.

Version updated to 4.50. Garmin Edge 130+ required re-pairing. Garmin Connect App refuse to bring up keyboard when it’s time to input code. 1+ week passed, no fix. Hope it’s not the entire devision impacted by covid. Stay safe, and repair your bug. Edge 130 is connected to all other devices except this connect app.

I have been using the app for 6 months now and it does everything I want it to. I have the Instinct watch and track my sleep as well as the light exercising I do with this app. I like the Body Battery function for giving me an overall view of how I’m doing. I check in on this app all of the time to see how my heart rate is averaging across the day. I even detected a Covid infection by seeing an elevated heart rate before I felt any symptoms.

You have to navigate 6 menus deep to set an alarm. After that it stops and shows a message that app has to sync with the watch for the settings to take effect and the next menu back it syncs. Who thought that this is a clever design? Why not have a button to set alarm easily accessible and sync once the alarm is created? That would make too much sense perhaps.

I have been using the Fitbit app for about six years. Since, I have switched over to the Garman and am absolutely loving it. The watch is great for my runs and a lot more accurate.
Weather does not update

Vivo Active 4 weather stays stale for hours. Is there a way to fix this? I’ve followed the outlined troubleshooting methods (Connect app open and location “Always On”). Current weather is stale after an hour or so and mine stays stale for 3-4 hours at a time making it completely useless. Thankfully, I can still return this thing, but checking all my options before I do so and just get an Apple Watch.
