As much as I like the device the mobil app is always refusing to track steps


Inconsistent app

Love my Garmin, but the app doesn’t always work and it has gotten worse since the recent update. Vivosmart 4 only partially syncs.


After recent updates trouble synching

After recent iOS and app update, the device will not synch properly. It requires extensive and inconvenient troubleshooting and is very temporary, only lasting a couple days before requiring to troubleshoot it all over again.


Phone won't connect to watch

Just got a vivoactive 3 music and my phone just straight up won't connect. Have tried every method possible of resetting both but I am not going to factory reset my phone to get my watch to connect


Disappointing of late

Had vivo for years and was perfect until band broke. Got a new vivo4 in December and have had issues syncing from the jump. Now, it’s not even tracking sleep and is sporadic with exercise too. Bummed because like Garmin products but the app’s inability to work is going to force a move. Latest update to supposedly fix iOS didn’t work either.


Update is awful

Garmin. I love you. I love all the watches I have had over the years. However. Your app for the new iOS update is awful. It is asking me to setup my watch every time I open the app. Please figure it out. And yes, I’ve followed all the directions you have put out in accordance to this problem.


Recent update causing problems

Constantly requiring me to re sign in. Not syncing properly. I had done my furthest run ever (15 miles) and it failed to sync. Now I just have a lot of steps for that day but not running data. Was also using the tri hrm.... no data. Please fix!


App has always been buggy but this is a new low

The app is constantly signing me out and each time I have to go through all of the steps to set my watch up again. I’ve also been having terrible battery drain issues (vivoactive 3) since this update and can’t make it more than a day without charging.

Back to one star from two. This app is still garbage after many, many updates. After years it still regularly forgets I am a customer and makes me set it up all over again. App designers need to look for new jobs that don’t involve coding. Still have to turn my ipad vertical to read it. Who except Garmin hasn’t figured that out these days? People want to be able to use this vertically or horizontally Garmin. And they want it to actually work. Is that too much to ask?


Keeps losing connection to the watch

Every other day I have to re install the app so that it will pair with my watch. So annoying and inconvenient. It ruins my workout when I get up early and have to stop and redownload this stupid app. Fix it Garmin!
