Would you please put saxophone on the piano because I play saxophone in my band at school and I would like that because all your app has is woodwind in the piano section

Add an Orchestra!!!!!

Arianna Cunningham

I’m enjoying GarageBand so much! I think you should have an Orchestra Pack for the next update of this app that requires ALL of the Orchestral Instruments that were used in the orchestra! Virtual Keyboard & Smart Instruments including Pedal Harps and Lever Harps, Solo Strings, Chamber Strings, Full Strings, Solo and Full Woodwinds, Saxophones, Solo and Full Brass instruments, All Tuned and Un-pitched percussion instruments, a REAL Celesta, Harpsichords, Pipe Organs and Chamber/Continuo Organs, Female, Male and Children’s Choirs plus Solo Voices, and of corse Apple Loops with ALL of these Orchestral Instruments too!

This app is awesome but

??????

Add more instrument like banjo ukulele Country Loops and tuba update how do you download sound packs thank you

EVERY SONG DELETED...

Chucklehead 64

... by this “demon spawn” of a music app. PROS: I used Garage Band on my Apple laptop (when I first got my laptop) to come up with a “jingle” (30 second radio spot) for a local car lot, and it netted me $1,000.00 — this involved about 4 hours of learning how to use GB (ON MY LAPTOP) and about 4 hours to write and record the vocals and all the instrumental parts (piano, organ, horns, bass and drums, as well as the vocals). Other than being able to add changes to key signatures and time signatures IN THE MIDDLE OF A SONG, I VERY MUCH like Garageband ON MY LAPTOP. [Not being able to add those changes in the middle of a song in GB on my laptop is why I spent $200 to get Logic Pro X ON MY LAPTOP.] A great job on the part of Apple (a number of years ago, with Steve Jobs still at the helm). CONS: Garageband on my iPhone is a huge (1.6 Gig) PIECE OF JUNK — on top of all the REST of the things that are wrong with it, all of the 10 or so small songs that I had recorded (while trying to learn this app) are all gone. I figure one of two things has occurred: 1) The Romulans have retired my “songlets” to “a galaxy far, far away” :) OR (more likely) 2) this “krap app” has just given me one MORE reason to AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! :( It’s goofy and way too “obtuse” to try to understand and comprehend. Apple, if you don’t wake up, you will find yourself on the “technological trash heap of history. Steve Jobs’ “style” simply consisted of requiring that all Apple products (both hardware and software) be as intuitive as possible. At Apple these days, Tim Cook (and apparently many other folks) are absolutely CLUELESS — witness hugely expensive advertising campaigns built around “STICKERS” — absolute lunacy!!!

One problem: size

Dvsnsrock

Garage band is a great app that I love using. Its just st that it takes up 1.5 GB of space on my iPad which is an insane amount of space for an app to use.

used to be a good app

beatdoggie

I’ve always enjoyed using garageband, but there has been constant bugs and interruptions throughout the app. There is an update to fix the bugs, but it only allows iphone x because of one feature. There should at least be a newer, bug free version for older iphones. An iphone x costs about $ one thousand and I’m not buying an expensive phone just so I can use garageband.

Love it, I wish on the sampler enchanting the pitch didn’t change the speed of the recorded sample

I’m no longer liking this app

Night43212489

I was liking this app until I am no longer able to use songs from my iTunes in my projects. This is new and it is annoying I only use my iPhone for all my needs so I’m very annoyed I can’t use this app anymore for music I bought.

Long-Time User, Recently Disappointed

musicalmeg660

I’ve been using GarageBand for three years to record music, but recently it’s started changing my songs. Whenever i record multiple songs in one sitting, the files will all turn into the first file after some time. It’s like it’s corrupting the recording and i can’t get the original recordings back. This has only just started happening in the past month, and I’m upset that i now have to find a new way to record multiple songs. I used to love this app, but I just can’t use it if it’s going to continue doing this. Disappointed.
