Not only this takes up too much space but it also isn’t good for people that try to make trap beats or what not. It’s all about that techno and it seems like y’all face towards the synthesizer related instruments

Great app, but needs 1 update.

So,I’ve written a review on this before, and there was nothing bad to say about this app. I write my own songs using this app, and it’s a wonderful tool for any skill leveled musician or hobbyist that just wants to make some decent, solid music. I was finishing one of my protects this morning, and I realized something that would make this app even more handy to use. I had made the drum part, and I needed a bass part. I was sick of using auto play all the time, so I wanted to put a loop for the bass part. I found the one I wanted, but the one problem was that it wasn’t in the key of the song. I would like to have a feature that makes any loop you choose automatically stay with the key of the song. I’m absolutely thrilled with everything else though. Sounds are top notch. I use this app to record and just play whenever I want to. Been using this app since it came out. Props to Apple for making a great app for well worth the $! Edit: thanks for addressing my previous comments. It goes to show that you guys at Apple really care about your customers feedback. I have a couple suggestions though. I would really like to have some more guitar sounds. Sure, there is plenty you can do to alter an existing sound, but sometimes I’m looking for a bit more. I do like the way that you have added guitar sounds to the keyboard feature, and the transposing feature is great. Maybe a classical guitar sound, or an acoustic-electric hybrid. I would also love to have WAY more drum sounds. At the very least, have more ways to tweak the sounds. The existing kits are great, but maybe a different, more updated studio kit, and some more kits in the metal/hard rock genre. Also a China and a second crash might be something you want to add in the future. Just having those two extra sounds can really help I think. Also, for the electric drums, could you please make a lefty switch mode? I have noticed since your last update that you have changed where the pads are. The acoustic drums are placed fine, but it would help me if you made a switch feature for all those lefties out there. Thank you guys very much. Edit 2: This app is great. However, can you guys make all the drums you have for the Apple loops (not live) possible to play? They all sound amazing, and a little more versatility in the sounds of the kits would be awesome! Also, adding more bass guitar sounds would be awesome! The only new one you guys have added to that lineup is the p-bass, which I love, but I am constantly using this app to make and produce my own music and I think that other people like myself would like more sounds, too. Something to think about in the future! Thanks for your time.

Unusable - iPhone 6s

My iOS and the GarageBand app itself are up to date with the most recent software. The app either freezes on the recent files screen or won’t open any instruments to begin making a project. Really lame, I was excited to work with this mobile DAW and so far it is a useless 1.3 GB on my phone. Hope this gets fixed. I love Garageband for laptop and desktop. For the iPhone, not so much.

Live recording editing

I would like to see a punch in out recording option. The way it is right now there is only a a punch in. That would make this a really awesome app for recording live and editing a mistake without having to record the whole song over until it’s right. You could select a starting point to start recording and select and ending point to end recording any where in the music piece you are recording .

More than meets the eye.

I’ll give you two reasons why this is the best creation by Apple. First, a child could take this and make a decent sounding piece. Now take a practiced musician. As a jazz composer who has used various recording and editing software, I have found that the simplicity of GarageBand is what makes it one of the top. Now I spent my time practicing guitar when I should’ve been practicing mixing and mastering on an advanced recording software, but I soon realized that the user friendliness of GarageBand sets it apart from anything else on the market. 5 Stars.

No WiFi !!

I love this game because you can make music anywhere and you can do the amp thingy which is awesome I also like the Japanese and Chinese instruments.the best part is that you get to save your songs to files also set your instruments on different settings and types and that is why I love this app and I think you would like it to please get it

Creepy

When I was recording me playing the piano with this app, I went to see the place where it shows you all of the instruments/recordings you’ve used in one song. And the name for the recording was called”Nice room” I’m not sure if that’s supposed to happen. I was creeped out because I had been recording myself play the piano for like an hour and I kinda feel like maybe someone was watching me through maybe a spy software or something and might’ve typed that in.

Have I mentioned how bad this app is?

Good, but there is a flaw......

Needs more attention to the game, for example the backround looks boring and should be replaced with something more music like. Besides ang of that, the app is splendid and great.
