But if you want to save a bunch of money and not have to worry about paying your phone every month or re-uping your minutes with some refilling card then you cannot beat Freedom Pops fantastic feature filled deals! My first savings came with the almost free micro sim that my iPhone 6+ was thrilled to have inserted in its little docking space! After researching all of their various deals I figured the 6 month Premium unlimited plan was the best and most affordable choice for myself at just about 15$ a month - For UNLIMITED - less than $15 A MONTH! I can send pics and get on the internet, make calls and SMS. How great is that?! And I don’t have to worry about paying another bill for 6 months! I am overjoyed as I have not found any other plans that beat that rate. And if I can no longer afford it I can just go with the limited free plan and still have service. It’s a no brainer!

I have FreedomPop on two of my old phones for backup. When signing up though you need to go into your “plans” and review, I signed up sitting a promotional global plan and was charged $5 a month, I have to go in and change my plan to the free one. All else it’s cool to have extra phones to use when calling suspected spam callers.

Great service for free

While u pay a low one time fee for me a SIM card you get basic services like calls and texting. Pictures and other services are cheap compared to other services but I use my FreedomPop as a second phone so the the basic plan of free works for me and having an other phone incase my primary one dies is life saver I recommend FreedomPop to anyone who wants free basic service.

Not bad for free.

I have the SIM card for my iPhone. Sometimes the caller has to call forever before my phone rings. E.g. ring 5 or 6 times before my phone rings once. Calling out is never a problem. Free doesn’t have voice mail, so it rings until the caller gives up, unless you pay for voice mail. If someone does a group text, you receive the text but you can’t reply to the group without paying for an upgrade.

Been using this as my primary ??

Their SIM card works well and I love that I can use my number anywhere in the world since I travel a lot. As long as I’m connected to wifi, I can send/receive messages and make calls anywhere in the world ? ?

Eh

I think this app could be better, when I’m texting someone and they r busy texting me the keyboard stops while I’m texting so I have to wait for their text to come thru then I can start texting. Sometimes when I’m in a building I have no service so I can’t do anything. The network is really slow I have to wait for about 2 min for a text or video to load. And we should be able to use WhatsApp. Another problem that I notice is when my friends send me a text some of it is in English but the the rest is ether in Chinese or a bunch of @ , / and - signs so I can’t read the rest of their texts Thanks, FreedomPop user

Terrible Audio Quality Vs. FaceTime Audio!

Libertyforall

Terrible Audio Quality Vs. FaceTime Audio! Tested on both iPhone 5s & iPad Mini 4 w/Cellular. Must be a low quality/bandwidth codec, plus you have to use the VoIP app on iPhone 5s, cannot use the native phone app. ? Good costs, however.

A data phone

This is a data phone service. You have to understand what it is. For me this company stands for an ideal that I support. It’s a newer service provider. They’ve worked out a lot of the kinks. They continue to improve their product. Their customer service is excellent. Unlike prepaid phones I can leave money on my phone balance indefinitely. No other prepaid service allows for this. You can’t be on the Internet with it all the time unless you hookup to the WiFi. You can always use the app with a WiFi connection. As for the Internet service, we called those dongles when I was working abroad, and their rates and service for data based internet are slightly better then those I received around the world. I’ve been with this company for a year, and I’m staying with them.
