Phone can’t make Calls. Confirmed I have unlimited Minutes and I’m not out of data

Confirmed I have unlimited Minutes and I’m not out of data...I’m like two months into my plan and as yesterday evening I can’t make calls out or get calls in. Tells me I’m out of minutes when my plan is unlimited. I’ve deleted the apps. Turned off cell. Tried resync the iPhone way thru the app. I redid my APN nothing works I need my cell phone service. ?

This app is working a lot better since the last bad review. I’ve been a user for more than a year now & have watched it progress in terms of reliability & functionality. I was surprised at times by the improvements. It saved me plenty of money & I’m pretty sure I complained way less than others paying so much for major service providers. Your plan can have high speed data, which makes it nearly equivalent to major service providers. You can’t use Apple ringtones for your calls or contacts but it does work with iMessage. Overall, pretty good service, & I feel less financially burdened.

Don’t buy unless you’re dead broke

Does it work? Most of the times yes. Sometimes you are not able to see missed called and listen to message, but overall it works. However, going through the app to make a call is very annoying. If you want to save money on phone bills, use Ting instead. If you’re really broke and can’t afford a regular provider, then this does the job most of the times.

Changes your number randomly, $12.99/mo for customer service on services that don’t work!

Ive been a premium paying customer for 3 years. The service is very unreliable, charges you randomly, CHANGES YOUR NUMBER WITHOUT GIVING NOTICE (had no idea until my sons school couldn’t reach me suddenly...) oh and it’s $12.99/month to use customer service when their services don’t work....

Ugh

The connection provided by the app can be rather spotty. The service can be very deceptive with the way it bills its customers, so you must be very careful. To top it off, their customer service means well, but they are not consistent when it comes to how they give feedback to problems.

Awesome App

It’s really easy to use Nice app. Good for some free users too Thanks a lot for your app

It’s free phone service

It is what it claims to be. There are pros and cons to FreedomPop but I was glad I had FreedomPop while traveling overseas. I used a different SIM card in my phone but since I had a data connection, I was still able to make calls through this app just like I was back at home.

Adequate to my needs

Slight glitches with the messaging app but mostly functional and enough free allowance for my needs.

I like it

The app itself works however it can be buggy at times. The service drops calls but it’s an affordable option if you can’t get onto a major network plan. I’ll be switching providers when I can afford to. It would also be nice to be able to use my IPhone’s functions. I have to do everything separate in the FP app.

Low Quality - Bugs Need to Be Addressed

When texting iPhones, words that are contractions show up on the recipient’s phone as question marks instead of apostrophes, which is annoying. Also, you cannot read messages while on a call. Messages show up jumbled. If a caller places you on hold to answer another call, when they return you hear hold music and must disconnect and call back to continue the conversation. The one feature I do like is the visual voicemail, which has been pretty accurate thus far. This app has the potential to be great if the bugs I mentioned could be resolved with the next update.
