Doesn’t work.

The Christ Jesus

They take your money without any problem. But the app doesn’t work.

Easy to disable

bcabs94

Liked the app because of the timed sessions and was initially hard to disable with locked mode. After exploring my iPhone settings though, quickly found that freedom operates through vpn settings. I wasn’t even looking to disable it because I felt more productive. But disabling freedom is as easy as turning off the “Connect on Demand” button in the Iphone vpn settings. This is unfortunately so easy now for me that it defeats the main benefit it initially had. No longer effective for me

Good but my time zones are wrong

Kate.lee

App seems to be stuck in east cost time. I’m not there! Otherwise, works as advertised!

Does not work with Instagram

Does not work with Instagram. Paid for premium and everything.

I would use it except....

I thought this was a free app with optional upgrades. Nowhere in the app description does it say this is a trial version with only seven free sessions before you have to start paying. Should’ve read more reviews, I guess! While it’s not expensive, I don’t like being tricked into giving my email address like that. Now I’ll probably get a ton of spam email. Real nice of them.

Don’t download!

It doesn’t work when you need it the works when you don’t need it. Plus you only get 7 trials then you gotta start paying for an app that doesn’t work ?? I spent more time distracted trying to get this app to work. Seemed like a great idea! Disappointed it didn’t work. After I downloaded it onto my computer and phone, set everything up for a session. It didn’t work, I was still able to access all my blocked sites. Then for days most of my apps weren’t working, like Snapchat and YouTube. I kept messing with my phone, thinking it was the connection. Deleted apps, redone loaded, and restarted my phone several times. I deleted this Freedom app, then magically all my apps were working! Don’t bother.

Free trial decided I had no sessions left

bamabikes

I’ve used 2 sessions so far but the app magically decided I have 0 trial sessions left. Overall frustrating to use. Would not recommend.

Perfect for dealing with social media

Redsleaves

I forgot about this app for awhile, as I was using it to focus on work a few months back. But I’ve started using it to block social media when it’s getting overly political or when a post gets me feeling riled up. Also using to to block social when with friends and family. Saving a lot of time, energy, and more present with with those around me. I’m using it more than ever.

Does not work

This app doesn’t work. Didn’t block any of the apps and it didn’t sync with the time on my phone. Was set to eastern time even though that is not the time zone my phone is on. So disappointing.
