The first time I used it, the app worked amazingly! So that’s why it got two. Then it never worked again, so it should get zero.
How to upgrade?!?!?!

Most distracting apps scape freedom mechanisms. I payed, have it installed but still have full access to youtube, instagram and facebook. Not good.

This app was a total life changer for the first few months that I had it installed. Something changed in the last month or so and it barely ever works correctly now. My scheduled sessions no longer start automatically and the whole purpose of my wanting this app was to help me gain control over my phone use. If I can just waste time using “blocked” sites until I open the actual freedom app and it begins working again, then I end up losing huge chunks of productive time. It does not appear to do anything to block Instagram anymore no matter if the freedom app is opened or not. I contacted the apps developers and followed their instructions to try and get it working again but it hasn’t fixed the issues. I feel like I wasted my money on paying for a premium subscription with Freedom since it does not work anymore.

$125 to unlock the entire app or it’s a subscription model. Absolutely no reason why an app should cost that much. I will never buy an app from a company with poor business ethics. Pretty good idea ripped off from a company that offers this function for free on the Mac. All these others reviewers are paid shills.

Freedom used to be a great app, so much so that I paid for it. Now it keeps telling me that my phone has stopped my session and to restart. Please fix so I can give 5 stars.
Doesn't work on Instagram and fb

I would love to use this app, however it no longer works on the Instagram app. Deleting and re-installing Instagram every time I want to block access to it is too cumbersome

Used to love this app (even though it was always a little glitchy I could get it to work well enough) I bought a membership have no problem paying for something if it works. A couple of months ago, it just stopped blocking IG completely (even though it says it is blocking it). Instagram is the main reason I use Freedom in the first place. I contacted customer service a few times, they said something had changed with Instagram and they were working to correct it (they haven’t) and also suggested I just delete the IG app - thanks, great suggestion from a company I am paying a monthly fee to block it :/
