Drivers use their brain, which is superior to GPS

So nice to hail a ride from someone that knows my city and how to maneuver within it. Uber is great but tired of drivers completely committed to the Uber GPS to navigate when the best route is not always on their phone/screen. They don’t know the names of most major city streets, but Flywheel drivers do, it is their profession.

Scam app for a desperate business.

This app is designed to allow drivers to ghost on you, then charge you $6 for “not showing up” (even if there’s a record of you calling the driver from where you stand, outside the address, in the rain). No wonder they’re hurting.

Same old awful taxis

I wanted to give them a chance, maybe they’d be better taxis with the rebrand but nope I was wrong. My first flywheel ride I ordered, the driver pulled up and asked where I was going. I said my apartment which was 2 miles away. The driver said nope and drove off on me. Worst experience ever, don’t use or support them they don’t deserve your money.

It seems like it works for other people, but…

I wish I could get this to work for me. The two times I’ve been able to get rides with it, it was despite the app itself. The phone feature (tried to call the driver) doesn’t work, drivers claim they tried calling me, but I was never reached. The GPS is not particularly accurate or smooth. I wish this worked better.

Works for me!

I love Flywheel! I can’t say, I wish I ha thought of it first...because, well, I did. I had an idea for an app that would allow you to order a cab, and it would be dispatched. I even thought about having the app track the locations on of the cab. I talked to a few people, but found no interest. A few months later, the first apps appeared, but were not quite what I envisioned. Then the ride shares appeared. I never bothered. I stuck with cabs. When Flywheel arrived, it was what I wanted. I used it before it became Flywheel. It is still a solid app, and is hands down the best.

Better than ride shares...

because they are registered professionals.

uppity. think they’re uber

could always get a cab lickety split any time of day. The drivers are always great. No complaints there, but then the sneering elitists who run this app decided they were too good to take payments via a prepaid debit card, so i was blacklisted. Now that i have a credit card, think i’m gonna use you people again? Nope. I hope you, lyft and uber all go belly up. Luxor & ARRO work just fine & take any card with a visa logo. Buh-bye.

Canceled without notice

I had a scheduled pickup. 5 minutes beforehand the app showed that I had it scheduled. At the time of pickup it said they couldn’t find a driver for me. They should’ve told me sooner. Waiting until the scheduled time to let me know is unacceptable.

Unfriendly and rude drivers

ihate litle kids who stnk

Rude driver who refused to let me pay through the flywheel app (the whole point of the system) then mentioned he would not have used the meter. Unsustainable model

Couldnt get it to work

Awful. Would like to take cabs rather than other rideshare cos at this point but this app needs to be improved to be worth my time
