The app now has ads for these idiotic puzzle games that take you to the app store and if you try to go back to flipboard, the ad is still playing and returns you to app store. essentially stuck in a loop.
Covered in advertisements, gets worse every day

His website does a remarkable job curating the news sources. No left or right wing bias, which is refreshing. This is the most interesting news app that I’ve downloaded. They offer a vast interest/topic selection list.

I’ve enjoyed Flipboard for a long time, but now it’s become nearly impossible to enjoy the app because of the ads. I get that the ads help finance apps like these, but when it gets to the point where you can’t use the app because of the bombardment of ads then it’s time to move on. The latest ad horror is one where, if you try to swipe pass it, it takes your swipe as a click and sends you to the App Store. This is ridiculous. I’m going to have to find another way to browse news. Update: the nice folks at Flipboard heard me and drop-kicked the offending ad. Love that they responded so quickly too. There are still too many ads, but at least the overly aggressive ones are gone. Thanks Flipboard!

When I want a cross-section of info and interest, Flipboard is perfect. I can check the news quickly and then learn about science or art or food — at my fingertips! Good reads all the time!
