Latest update wiped my profile

Flipboard is now unusable. The latest update wiped out my profile and all the magazines I had selected. I can only assume it also wiped out all of my preferences and tweaks. Meaning years of work personalizing my data feed has been eliminated. I’ve been a user of this app for many years now, and I will have to abandon it because my profile is gone. Goodbye Flipboard you are a good app — I can’t understand why you shot yourself in the face.

Don’t like how the magazines were moved to the explore tab.

I LOVED this app… until the last update made all my curated content/news disappear. I had three full pages that I swiped through every day, several times a day, and now they are gone. I’m probably going to just stick with Apple News at this point. I like Flipboard better, but don’t have the patience or time to rebuild my content. Sad.

I would rate it higher but there are numerous times when completely irrelevant pieces get included into a “channel.” You can have them removed for the future (by topic, source, or subject matter). If you remove by subject matter, like “politics,” a month or two later they are back. The removal of jarring full screen ads was greatly appreciated.

Latest update removed subscribed feeds

The latest update biffed all the feeds I’ve had configured for YEARS. Disappointed, will probably delete the app and move into something else.

New update and all my saved content searches and boards are gone? Hello Apple News app. So disappointed in this. Big fail for what was a great app. Very frustrating.

Exactly what it says. OK app, nothing great. Then an update that wipes everything saved. Could go back and re-do everything. But why? If they don’t want me signed up for their app, all they had to do was say so. ************************* New update. Wheee! Which doesn’t explain why it deleted my info with the prior update. Does anybody TEST anything anymore before it’s released? Sorry but it’s still garbage. Even though it’s now fixed and seems to work. I’ll keep it. But ‘News360’ is starting to look better. The race is on.
