Clipboard is Slowly Dying

Flipboard was once a great app, but now is a program that constantly crashes and just uploads so many website with and overwhelming amount of advertisement that ruins your ready experience. The original concept that made Flipboard a great app has been lost. Flipboard has done little to course correct and is slowly fading into obscurity. I no like Niger enjoy using Flipboard and have replaced it with a different app.

There has to be a better way...

Until a few months ago I could easily spend a couple of hours reading articles on flipboard but now there are just too many ads and pop ups. I hope someone figures out a less irritating way to generate revenue off of such applications..

Sad to say I just deleted Flipboard ?. I can't take the crashing anymore. I will watch the reviews and if they fix it I will gladly download again.

I used to enjoy this app but lately the recommended / linked articles are absolutely crazy with pop up advertising.

Every article, no matter the category, has liberal bias. If the subject can at all be political it is, and it's so slanted left as to be straight out fiction. I've had this app for years and loved it. Don't know why the change but I don't need liberal garbage notifications and crazy left wing rants. If you like The New York Times you'll love this app. Beware!!

This used to be a great app, but like so many in this country, money means more than respect.. Ads, ads, ads.. And like 8 out of ten ads makes it crash.. I'm done, good bye forever.!

Like others have said Flipboard bought Zite and killed the superior product. Content on FB repeats itself, does not show enough unique content and when you try and view an article a popup which takes up the whole screen or wants to take you the AppStore appears. I used to use this app everyday and will now look to find a replacement. I would not recommend this app to others.

Flopboard is a ZERO star app. The Zite app was perfect. Bring Zite back!!! ? ? This is just an opinion, but statistics suggest FLOPBOARD uses sock puppets to falsely boost Flopboard's rating. Also the App Store Editor comments seem to be faked. Apple must stop this. PRIOR REVIEW ------------- ZERO STARS for Flopboard, while Zite was 10 stars. Zite allowed a user to quickly refine their feed algorithm and avoid the trite, cutesy, trendy dribble that Flopboard thinks is hip. Flopboard is such a useless app in comparison to Zite, which Flipboard bought and killed. Zite clearly was the superior product and was perfectly suited to many people's needs. Flopboard really is an advertising site pretending to be a news aggregator. What an insult to the reader! Obviously, they killed the wrong app. Flopboard is nonintuitive and unresponsive in comparison to Zite (a rare gem). Flopboard is forever stuck with a clunky and confusing interface, because it put its gimmicky approach in its app name and can't admit it missed the mark! Sorry, but Flopboard's cheap trick of "flipping boards" simply gets in the way of a good reading experience. Worse yet, Flopboard also shoves trashy, out-of-date content onto the user, which shows its profound bias. Not everybody wants that junk pushed in front of their eyes. What a setback to lose Zite and get stuck with the retrograde Flopboard. R.I.P. Zite. Actually, I would pay money to the original Zite developers, if they left their new Flopboard prison and went out on their own again. Hopefully, the developers of Zite will rebel from their new taskmasters and bring Zite back before Flipboard flops and goes away. I'm not kidding about the suspected imminent demise of Flopboard. It seems they lied about incorporating Zite technology into Flopboard, because it appears all they did was transfer the Zite user's general category interests and not the greater functionality of the Zite predictive search engine to find the latest, relevant, diversely-sourced articles based on preference history. On Flopboard, I can't find hardly any of my favorite old Zite sources. Also, Flopboard is suspected by everyone of using to sock puppets to keep the rating above 1 stars. Meaning, while all the reviews by real people are only "virtual zero" or 1 star, the sock puppets are giving 5 stars and only saying simplistic things like "Best app". Huh? Are they telling employees in the janitorial department of Flopboard to write 5 star reviews, so they can keep their jobs? That would not be ethical. Please stop the cheating with the sick puppy sock puppet scam and put Flopboard's remaining energy into resurrecting Zite and admitting Flopboard should be killed instead.

Used it for years and now I'm done

Twice today, two separate articles have forced me to a purchase screen to buy a watch. I can't read the article at all. I can't close the app and reopen the article. Done. So many other issues I won't bother to mention, but this is the last straw. Goodbye flipboard
