Five Guys as a company is great. They took care of the screw up this app caused. However, this app and its developers should be loaded into a 1976 Ford Pinto and pushed off a cliff.

I ordered food using the app. Waited about 10 minutes. Checked the app, said it was in progress. Waited 10 more minutes, checked the app and it said Complete. I went in to the restaurant and the guy was really nice. Said it would be just a minute. I watched him put a burger on the grill. Over the next 15 minutes it became clear that was my burger. Gotta get the order status right. I would have been happy to wait, but not after being told it’s done.

Does the job well although it does have some redundancies. For example, ordering a cheeseburger sandwich still asks you if you want to add cheese. My biggest issue is the lack of a reward system (points or otherwise) and no section for coupons or offers. This is severely lacking as compared to many other apps from similar competitors.


Easy to use but ineffective

App is simple - Yeah! Placed order thru app 1 hour ahead of pick up. Arrived for pick up and they said “we’ll get the order started shortly”. Why order in advance if you’re going to go to store and have to wait normal time??? Sounds like the app is designed for the benefit of the store not the customer. Delete the APP!!!

Seriously, is this part of your customer service, to define an update as “Hand off mode up front?” You have shown that you don’t care about your customers by using that term to the general customer base. I’m OUT


Great app missing one thing

Love the FG app, but they eliminated the option to order a fountain drink, can only order bottles. I guess that’s a good thing as it pushes me to drink water instead, but wish they allowed ordering fountain drinks like they used to.
