Awesome to have a decent port of this game on ios. Sad they changed some of the original dialogue. Still best final fantasy game ever though.

The graphics in this port are great, first of all, the battles are fun and the music is the best, and third, this game crushes FFXIII, FFXII, FFXI, FFX, FFIX, FFVIII, FFVII, FFV, FFIV, FFIII, FFII, FFI, FF TACTICS, FFXIV, FFXV, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Silent Hill, Resident Evil IV, Crono Trigger, Crono Cross, DQI, DQII, DQIII, DQIV, DQV, DQVI, DQVII, DQVIII, DQIX, DQ: BUILDERS, FFRK, FFATB, Dissidia Final Fantasy, and every other game in history beneath its amazing cartridge.

Don't buy this unless you've watched YouTube gameplay of this game. I highly regret my purchase. I've never played a FF game and figured I'd give it a try. But this has got to be the most boring game I've ever played in my life. I should have read reviews and watched gameplay on YouTube first.

You hear many debate 6 or 7. Then 8, 9 and 10 may also get thrown around in there, saying which is there favorite and how they hated another and so on. What you don't hear is anyone ever saying they didn't like 6. It is a masterpiece. This is truly the very best game in series and has one of the all time evil enemies of any video game. Just play it, thank me later. It's a huge challenge and after the first play through you'll want to try again to do it "better" and destroy all the super hard bonus bosses. Trust me, story, gameplay, everything... this game has it all!

Why, why, WHY have they still not given the option to alphabetized Gau's rages? Having to search that list every time I need to know if I have the enemy already kind of puts me into a rage. With the additions they made to this, like all the weapon and spell name changes, the extra magicites, etc., you'd think this would have been addressed. But overall it's a great app. Still lots of fun to play.

Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that I can once again play through this game! It's just that I was a tad bit bummed when I killed Shadow before the waterfall, only for him to saunter off anyways. No longer able to bring him with me to the Veldt haha

Update: Another day, and yet another "free to play" game has been released by Square-Enix. No updates to their paid games. Nothing. Not a hint. No FF8, no updates to their other FF games (except for FFIX which got "minor bug fixes" in March of 2017). Is this the end of quality games on iOS? Check back for more! Original review below. It's been 2 years, Square! Update the game, Square! We all paid good money on this, Square! Don't let this game disappear next to all those crappy "free" junk games that everyone else is churning out like butter, Square!!!

Anyone else getting zero audio through Bluetooth on this game? The music is like half the value of this title.
