Great port but needs work!

I love this game!! Brings back so many memories. I’ve put so many hours into this game as a kid. The only reason for the 3 star is that the game continues to crash on a semi-regular basis. As long as you quick save all the time, it’s no problem. But when you’re in the middle of fighting intangir for the first time and the game crashes it can be infuriating! Get half way through the magitek research facility and it crashes. On and on. If the crashes can be fixed I’d love to give this game a 5 star.

The game is still awesome, but the controls blow donkey. Also I believe some of the text was changed for unknown snowflake reasons.
Decent Port - Needs Aspect Ratio Options

Final Fantasy VI is a wonderful game that is truly one of the all time greats. This port is a decent way to play the game in today’s mobile focused world. One thing this port would benefit from is the ability to restore the aspect ratio to the original, similar to the iOS port of Final Fantasy IV. That one hasn’t been updated in 3 years, but it allows for changing the aspect ratio to original instead of the stretched aspect ratio that this port forces. I hope that the developers add this option. The stretching really puts off a good number of potential players. More so even than the smoothed graphics.
One problem.

The game keeps crashing on me, when I finish a section in the game, and I think there is a bug that constantly takes action and the app ends up crashing on me, but all and all, this game is amazing with its story, gameplay and characters.
Best final fantasy. -1 star for occasional crash and progress-loss

It took them forever to fix this after the latest update, I’m scared to update my phone now because I don’t want it to break again. Save often, like every 5 min or even more than that, cause it will crash, but it’s such a good story and fun battles that you put up with it. I beat this thing well over 20 years ago, never thought I’d play it again on a phone....
The most beautiful story and gameplay

squaresoft prior to being merged with enix had played their cards right making this game. It had so many directors and people with different ideas that came together beautifully to create the most immersive endearing game play I can remember. Now a remake of this game would just make me lose my mind. In a good way of course!
Worst controls of any FF game on mobile.

I own every classic Square Enix game for iPhone and FF6 has by far the worst controls. Everything else about the game is perfect, I’ve played it more than any other mobile game and it’s my all time favorite Final Fantasy. But the controls are just hideous. It’s hard to even walk in a straight line, and there are several parts in the game where you do actually have to make some precise movements. I would still recommend this game over any other app.
Needs a fix!
Will on iPad
Currently on iOS 13, I am unable to pilot the airship. I can see the Up arrow indicating that the airship can go up but I keep entering the airship with the touchscreen. I also paired my Bluetooth controller and pressing the Confirm button gets you inside the airship. The game is currently broken. Please fix it.
