Wouldn’t save:(

Keeli5

I really loved this game, though it stopped allowing me to save so once I died I had to go back to the same spot. I would use save points and still it would reset me to the same point. After a while of attempting to search or figure out what was going on to no avail I simply deleted it. I’ve been sad for a few days because it was perfect to play while streaming Netflix. Just the right amount of easiness.

iPhone X Screen Update???

Pacheco_O

Please update to fit the screen of the iPhone X. I love the game but cannot give a positive review because it looks so ugly while playing.

Movement

Medkarn

The game is great, and everything about it is in general. The only thing that will make it perfect is improving the touch pad for touch screen. Not sure how but it could be made easier or more efficient. Going down is difficult and takes conscious effort. Reducing the distance from left or right to down would make HUGE difference. Talking about the 4 directional pad. Also if it was easier to not attack yourself when choosing fast battle options by tapping or making it easier to use Phoenix downs instead of on the character using it who is alive. These are my suggestions, but overall great. Could be a little cheaper but it is what it is.

Good, needs better controls

Llama3Lord

Please make the D-pad stationary instead of having it move wherever you touch, and a choice between portrait and landscape modes would be awesome.

FFVI

This game is definitely my favorite FF out of the series. Playing this over again brings be back to the old SNES days. I noticed a couple things since I last played this. I’m able to use a Bluetooth controller now, so this definitely feels like I’m back on the SNES. A few things that feel different, flying the ship, the controls should be inverted, but it’s not. One other big thing I noticed, there a bug with the current version, the enemies on Veldt didn’t change in the World of Ruin. I’m not able to learn any new rages. Please fix this! Other than this, the game is just as I remembered.

One of my favorite but....

MDude88

I’m going to keep this short. Fantastic game, fantastic everything except for the controls. It’s unfair for me to not give this 5 Stars as much as I want to but both controls are simply atrocious. I’m unsure which game was re-made first for mobile but if you want to do controls correctly, play Final Fantasy 5 on your mobile. Minus 2 Stars simply for having horrible controls and still wishing this game finally gets an update. I’ll log into this game once in a while but the moment I move the characters, I remember why I don’t play this game.

Awful controls

I’m not sure if it’s because the app isn’t iPhone X optimized or what, but the controls for walking / running are very difficult to use.

Horrible iPhone X UX experience

Rob Illerucis

The game doesn’t fit the screen. The menu gets cut off during battle and looks awkward when scrolling. Sad.

Beautiful game

Danman51492

This game is amazing, deserving of 5 stars. I just feel like it should be better supported. Like it’s pretty ridiculous how I spent a good amount of money (these final fantasy iOS games aren’t cheap) and it not be supported with new display resolutions. They need to release a patch to make it more compatible with iPhone X display. I’ll return and give it 5 stars when that happens

Don't listen to the other reviews

First off I would like to say that this is my favorite, not just RPG, but game of all time. This is the pinnacle of awesome for anyone who loves RPG/Strategy. You will find the characters oh so relatable and the storyline even better. The villain in this game is by far the definition of evil, sorry Sephiroth fans, and mechanics are great. I didn't find the walking much of a problem, like what other people are talking about, but that doesn't really take away from the whole "aspect" of the game. Any of the reviews that say the "storyline is bad," or "the bosses are too hard," just discount those. This is one of the easiest and most entertaining Final Fantasy games out there, so as long as you got some skill and a brain, you should be good. Other than that enjoy!
