But the game is just repetitive and the good stuff is pretty much hidden behind a pay wall. The story truly falls off after the first season and I found myself just hitting the skip button. Overall the quests and objectives are nothing but rinse and repeat. The pay wall is not bad but if you want any of the good things out of the game (guaranteed) then your going to have to spend a crap ton of money or throw away any type of life to grind it. Lapis is over priced so to be able to purchase shop items you have to spend 50 to 100 dollars to get the amount of Lapis needed. The items you buy straight with money honestly priced don’t give much or are not good and then the overpriced ones are expensive. You could play free but the good stuff is not going to be attainable if you don’t pull out your card. I guess the game has some fun with gaining characters you enjoy from each game title...but then they introduced the “special” remakes of them which of course get behind the pay wall and rng. Another...The rng factor is horrendous. Gumi made a section where it “says” it is the “special” area to get these units for events but you’re more than likely to get some trash unit that just waste up your limited space unless you take the time to use those units in some way or buying more unit space which cost Lapis. In the end...fun at first but unless you have a great paying job or are rich and can throw your money at the game or you have the patience of a tortoise then stay away. It will just lead to frustration and anger and a bit of disappointment.

Ever since the recent update came out, the game doesn’t load like it used to, the only thing that appears is an error saying MST_LOAD_FAILED

Just had to scale my original 5 star review back to 3 stars due to the ridiculous number of data uploads with this game that on even a decent internet signal take upwards of over a half hour to download just to play the game EACH TIME, this game is in need of serious improvements that remove these real massive annoyances
2.2 GB download??

Love the game but today’s update or whatever you guys did is asking for a 2.2 GB download! Why so much?! Will it make the WHOLE game instant without anymore minuscule downloads?

If you bother to play, just pray that nothing ever goes wrong with your account, because it will take actual months for you to finally give up on getting it fixed. Tried to resolve an issue where I didn’t get credit for an event and eventually the event icon disappeared from my screen and they just kept telling me to wait for a response. It’s been three months.

I love this title even with all of it’s shortcomings, I’ve never enjoyed and spent so many hours looting, battling incredible adversaries, along with searching the surprisingly vast world of Lapis, to have realized I’ll never stop exploring the huge collection of characters and adventuring. There’s no other main title let alone other rpg on any system or app I’ve invested so much energy,time,and resources knowing I can’t collect it all but I’m knowing I’m going to thoroughly enjoy my experience’s trying to fashion a S-class 6team formation that can faithfully trudge through the thoughtful and well designed enemies and any event obstacle. Highest praise, this app has become a summoner and deserves our respect in its spiral of lore and nostalgia.

I’ve been playing this for several years now. I have not spent any money on this game yet I have incredibly strong units! The key is to save your lapis and summon wisely! I love how the developers update new events weekly and how they keep an eye on the bugs. Great for FF fans!

The game is absolutely consuming, by far leveling up a 7 star team is the most strenuous part but once you do your power level explodes one character 7 stared character allows a player to go from noice to expert level bosses. Game is jam backed full of content with many quest, summons and “vortex” missions. The game is great my biggest gripe is the summon banners. Makes it very hard to summon characters you need/want and after a certain point summoning the same character multiple times becomes somewhat useless. But saving grace select summon tickets allowing you to pull a single character at the cost of 10 tickets and the new super trust moogle tickets allowing you to get the super trust master(STMR) for a character. Again great game just wish banners of old characters or banners of specific games would be promoted so there’s a greater chance of you locking down a 7 star team.

I am a die hard and loyal fan and hold this game in high regards and is my favorite app that I’ve played. I highly highly recommend this game for anyone!! I regularly make purchases because this game is worth every dollar! Though I love and support this game, I do not follow blindly and in a year I can say this is my first hard complaint. Significantly too in that it will impact future investments. The fact of introducing weapons that can be further upgraded later is a nice feature. What I DO NOT appreciate and do feel that was intentional, due to its simplicity on avoiding an issue, is there was no mention that these items will not be able to be upgradable in future updates if they are enhanced in Steel Castle events. I am not the only player that has encountered this as many forums are flooded with posts with massive confusion on this very matter. Also learned this has happened in the past before, which makes it more furious. It should be properly addressed with a variant of the following: allowing players a way to clear enhancements. (Or): Allowing players the option to rebuy the item at the mog shop. (Or): in future update posts and ads there must be a disclaimer listing any item limitations or restrictions in the post close to the main features. I do feel some kind of way about this, I had set aside resources ($) to enjoy to the fullest these features but I’m just not interested now. I’m not a kind of person to just half enjoy or half do anything. “At this point, what’s the point?” Is where I’m at. I’f this cannot be corrected to the number of others in the same boat I’m just going to enjoy the game for what it is and appreciate it greatly without making monthly transactions. Feeling disappointed.
