Hours of extended maintenance due to “unforeseen circumstances “

Now I do enjoy this game but ever since last year, every Thursday there is maintainence that 3 times outta 4 will be extended for 2hrs or more. While some games u can update in background, this is not one of them. What’s worse is the downloads are often massive and huge that can take 3hrs depending your phone plan. Oh and worst is the whole “u need to download updates to play the game “....why even have that an option if hitting no just gets u back to the title screen? It does offer some challenging game play and fun units but come on so much quality of life is needed

I’ve been playing this for over two I spent lots of money I really like I love the graphic it A couple months ago it updated. And I couldn’t back on any of my Devices Now it wants me to start a new game. I can’t start a new because I will lose everything. Please fix this

It’s a good game but you literally spend half ur time downloading extra content for the game before playing the actual game. Sometimes when you’re downloading a big file it randomly stops and makes you start all over wasting more of your time. They should have it where we download the al the files in one go instead of downloading extra files every time I start the game.

Holy Christ!!! I was exaggerating a little when I said that this game had more updates than gameplay. But literally for the past four-five days, I’m stuck on countless and endless update screens! This is pathetic! No mobile game should take this long to update and download! And for god sake! No game with little pixels should need 2 thousand+ mb. every single day!

Once I start playing I can’t stop, the only issue is the random crashes the game has every once in a while, I’m at a part of the game where I’m stuck and cannot progress because it crashes at the end of a specific cutscene, but I want to keep playing.

This game can be fun. They’ve done a great job at providing a lot of content, many chances to pull great characters, and amazing music to listen to while enjoying the visuals. However... Every time I open the game every day there are so many things that need to download. A minute here to download this, then the title screen, then new updates to download, back to the title screen because there’s a new app update, back into the app, more downloads. It seems like this is every day. Honestly, I’ve spent more time waiting for all the content to download than actually getting to play it. I don’t have 20 minutes every time I open the app. I want to play right away. If you need to have us download things, please start putting the download in the background while we at least get our daily login stuff.

Every mobile game nowadays has paid transactions, this game is very generous with the paid currency it gives out for free. Basically anything good can be bought by a free to play player. They have some bundles but it’s really nothing you would be upset about not buying. The way you get new units is with summoning at random. Many times there are special banners with really game breaking units, but it’s not all gambling. You can choose to go for this guaranteed banner, which will cost you a lot of resources, but it only takes about a month to get the amount you would need. So unlike many many other games, even by square or gumi, it’s very very f2p friendly. The story is really great! It could have very well been a FF gameboy game with a little restructuring and some other changes. All of these old reviews are just that, old and outdated. What ever problems they might have had, they have fixed it while removing the “must gamble for the unit” model. So if you really love FF and the classic gameplay you must get this game!
