Absolutely no excuse for lack of Dolby Digital via AirPlay in this day and age. Rented a brand new release movie and once again, no excuse for lack of Dolby Digital via AirPlay.

Absolutely ridiculous policy. Stealing money from customers. Got a gift card for Christmas, rented a movie on the brand new “awesome” fandango now app. I can’t even play my movie. Hot trash
Unusable with Apple TV

I have spent half the day trying to get a rental from FandangoNow to play via AirPlay on my TV. No luck. And while the Movies Anywhere app can be used to play purchases from FandangoNow on Apple TV, it will not play rentals. I contacted FandangoNow customer service, and they admitted they had no idea how to help. Therefore this app is completely useless.

App isn’t available on Apple tv which is the most used tv device for digital streaming. Can’t even stream from the iPad with the FandangoNow app. I get a credit to watch movie and then i cant even use right. Not worth one penny until they actually care about it
Airplay is broken

Tried to watch a movie on my iPad and AirPlay to my two HomePod speakers. The HomePods play the audio but the iPad displays just the video controls. Seriously? You guys *do* know that the HomePod can’t play video, right? Netflix, Plex, Amazon Prime, etc are all able to do this without an issue.

I bought 2 movies in UHD on my 4K smart tv. One of the movies played fine the first time, but now anytime I open the fandangonow app it will either give me a 404 error code, or load the movie but not actually play it, and as of now it will only let me attempt to watch them in HD and says UHD unavailable. I haven’t had any issues with any other apps such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, or Vudu. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Can’t purchase in app, can’t categorize purchases, app is not user friendly. Take the user criticism and better it. This app could have so much potential.
