Sadly the once great app has been ruined

tpromix

Sadly this once great app has been ruined by recent updates making it useless. Features that used to be fast are now painfully slow. Even notebooks stored on your phone whliplbtale 30 seconds to open.... I have been complaining for 6 months, they don’t seem to care about long term users, nor the famous saying “time is money” because the app is stealing.m all my time while attempting to use. This would be 4 star review if they fixed and it would be 5 star if they fixed added a calendar and contact integration ...more crm like

Give us money to use offline mode

Sevrick

So now after a long time you are taking away the ability see and edits notes offline unless you pay? Screw you guys. Switching to One Note, it's free and doesn't force you to see you notes with an Internet connection unless you throw money at them.

Too complicated

Fellow Traveler89

Wish someone would make a super simple plain note pad app.

Utterly unreliable is the deal breaker!

Which nickname is not taken???!!! Please~

Salute to the developer, who has been behind this app for so many years. As for myself, I have chosen to stay with this app since its launch, when there was few alternative note keeping apps on Mac. Mac was even much less popular at that time. I have to say that, Evernote didn't fail me for a long long time, until I found Onenote. Onenote's UI, the way it keeps notebooks and notes and several other features makes it a great choice for more serious note keeping, such as academic study or research. It also has the local storage. I have gigabytes of data(audio notes), which could be saved locally on one device but not the other. So they are always ready when I need them. But for more than a year until now, I still enjoyed Evernote. It had been my choice for many years and there wasn't anything fundamentally wrong. I have sixty notes like recipes on it for example, I still regularly check. Then they roll out this 2 device only syncing limit. Nowadays, anyone tech savvy would have a computer, a smartphone and a tablet. I certainly do since iPad 1. I was perfectly comfortable with basic functions and had been using it for years. Then all of a sudden, I was forced to pay 30 euro/yr to keep using it on iPad, unless I would want to use the web version. It feels as if the developer was holding my head down. They would have been successful, if there was no good cheaper alternatives, if there was no way to export all the notes out... So goodbye evernote developer. Because simply by using your app and spreading the words I am obviously useless to u without paying. Otherwise, you wouldn't reduce the term of a free account to a place where it is really "basic". Thanks for all the help and great time you gave me.

Cluttered Mess, Pants on Fire

No_name_given

Holy 40% price increase Prioritizes ads over access to your notes. One blatant lie on their website: "We maximized the screen space dedicated to your text and notes.." False false false. Home screen used to be just your notes, not this green disaster. If you pay, you'll still be hard pressed to find the settings to turn off the junk

Time To Go

Another long time user here. But the latest changes have made it so I know it's time to use those other great alternatives. I'm glad I used other alternatives along with this so the transition isn't difficult or time consuming. I remember when this app was talked about all the time and how great it was. Looking at the reviews and reading some of the articles written not long ago I see I'm not the only one who is moving on from this.

App won't work

newcmack

App won't work since last update. It says "waiting" and I can't even delete it to download a new version. And, yes, I only have 2 devices so I went to my account and deleted it and I still can't get the iPad app to delete or do anything.

Do NOT want Evernote in iMessaging!!!!

SkinnyGina

Do NOT want Evernote tied into iMessaging!!!! NO! NO! NO!

Update made it useless

Low income housing

I used this for years until they limited it to two devices. Immediately deleted.

Evernote where have you been?

I love this app! I am new to real estate and learning this great tool for my business and boy is it great for organization, sharing across multiple devices and platforms and even sharing information with my clients. I wish during my last 25 years in the military I had had access to a tool like this one. Microsoft really can't touch the utility in this one little app!
