I have been with Evernote since the beginning and I always thought they were the best..... I went to search my Evernote app just now and they charge a premium price to just search! That is why I liked them in the first place! I already pay a monthly service fee and searching has always been one of its main components. Bummer! I don’t know what I’m paying for if I can’t search my docs? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU WANT TO SEARCH YOUR APP DATABASE!!!! Sorry that Evernote had downgraded their service!!!!

I used to be a paying customer but it seems like things getting worse with each release. Switched to OneNote. It's not perfect either but I can't believe I am saying that Microsoft is making a great effort to make it better with each release. That is a shame because Evernote had a great potential.

For 3-4 years I was saving every business transaction document in Evernote. One day it just all disappeared !!!! I lost all of it, but how????
No customer service, no features I’m paying for. Drop this scam.

It’s been months since I contacted the tech support - no answers. The features I am paying for with premium subscription do not work. The money gets drawn regularly, advertising is bugging you to upgrade but the features do not work. Time to get the money back and switch to something else.

Evernote, why must you keep prompting me to upgrade ever time I do a search? I don’t need to be able to search in PDFs and I’m already a plus member.

As handwriting becomes more mainstream, you continue to force people to type notes. The token "drawing" capability doesn't adequately support handwritten notes as the primary source of input in the way OneNote and Notability do... ironically, those two apps continue to be tops in reviews. CAN YOU PLEASE ADD HANDWRITING FOR NOTES (not just drawing to be embedded separately)????? Especially as surface pro4 and iPad Pro are mainstream now?

You took away bullet points?! What are you thinking?!! Please tell me it was just a glitch in this version. Please bring it back. What's the point of note taking without the ability to use bullet points?

Having been a long time and premium user of Evernote (since Oct 2011) with thousands of notes, I was as frustrated as everybody else when version 8 came out at the first of 2017 and everything was slow and broken. I’d search for a word that I KNEW was in the title of at least a dozen notes but it would slowly grind away then come back with no notes found. I even sent info and screenshots to support to no avail. The pain of version 8 was excruciating. My entire life is in Evernote - medical notes, call schedules, everything. I checked out other options but none had a decent web clipper so the pain of transferring all my notes wasn’t worth it. Fortunately, I had saved a copy of version 7 so just went back to using that. Until last month when the version 7 web clipper stopped working. Reluctantly, I updated to the latest version and - surprise! - everything is great again - just like version 7!! (Except for being able to go directly to a note by first letter of title —- PLEASE PUT BACK THE ALPHABET DOWN THE SIDE!!). I’m definitely not thrilled at the pricing structure, but I am ecstatic that I can keep track of my life and continue to indulge my digital hoarding habit. If I find anything that is a significant problem, I will update this review. In the meantime - come on back! The water’s fine. Again.
Keeps crashing!

I used to love Evernote and keep all my notes in there but now it just keeps crashing! I uninstalled and reinstalled it on my phone but now, my notes are nowhere to be found on my phone.
